Let me start by saying that I'm not one to leave reviews, but when something deserves it, it deserves it, period. A welcoming and very beautiful restaurant, it's already the third time we've stopped here and each time we're left speechless by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owner and staff. It's like feeling at home. Keep it up, and if anyone is in the Marostica area, a stop here is a must. Greetings from Venice, beautiful people!!!

As I usually do, when I'm offered something off the menu, I always order a course or two. In this case, it was a Sardinian first course with cheese and vegetables, very delicious and hearty. Being with friends, they also appreciated the service, the dishes, and the rustic atmosphere, with lots of photos.

Very cozy and also with a lot of personality (like its proprietors). One of two places within the castle walls I return to for a good dinner. Has the feel between a trattoria and an osteria; In fact I think you can go in just for drinks at the front section. (Check for availability for outdoor seating in colder months.)

20/02/2026: Found this lovely spot on our way from the Carnival in Venice to our skiing resort up north. Run by two brothers who have grown up in the industry and must have been through its changes over time, yet have carved this gem resembling long gone times. Great menu with local Veneto cuisine. Cannot go wrong with anything on this menu, we especially love all the pastas (had bigoli, tortellini and pasta & fagioli) and veggies (artichoke, wild cicoria and grilled veggies). Giorgio is helpful and hospitable, making you feel like you’re eating at his house. Definitely recommended!
