L'Anfora Country Club In Basciano

My first time at Anfora, and it was love at first sight. The location was exceptional, the place clean and welcoming, the food exceptional, and last but not least, the service was truly professional, kind, and always smiling. A special mention goes to "Pharaoh" Taha, an Oscar-worthy waiter. Thank you for everything.

We ate yesterday, Monday, October 20th, there were 7 of us, and I must say that upon entering the beautiful setting, I already felt pampered. A very varied cuisine with well-cooked typical dishes that are careful to respect tradition (since not everyone cares)... what can I say... a wonderful lunch and a very friendly welcome from the owner. Thanks again, we will be back in even greater numbers!! 🙏💯💯💯

We found it by pure chance, and what a chance! Delicious dishes, friendly staff, and a charming location on a lake. Even though it was Sunday and all the tables were booked, they sat us down. We ordered one appetizer, two first courses, and a side dish. Reasonable prices! I absolutely recommend it!

While traveling, we decide to exit the highway at VILLA VOMANO - BASCIANO for lunch and, using Google Maps, see that we're just a few minutes from the Anfora restaurant. We manage to find a table, since it's Sunday. Pulling into the parking lot, we see a beautiful, well-kept lake with benches and a large green park. The establishment looks very nice from the outside, and upon entering, the care and order inside are confirmed. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Outdoor dining is available during the warmer months. The uniformed staff are professional and fast. The menu offers a wide variety of options, leaving you spoiled for choice. We start by trying the legendary Teramo timbale, a true delight of the Abruzzo tradition, and the Tyrolean potato gnocchi, fantastic! The lamb is incredibly tender, fragrant, and cooked to perfection. The grilled vegetables are excellent, and the roasted tomatoes au gratin are truly delicious. Generous portions. Excellent value for money... I believe this restaurant represents excellence both in terms of its ambience and its traditional Italian dishes. Reservations are highly recommended given the large number of guests. A top rating. We'll be back soon!!

Excellent regional cuisine in an elegant, country setting. I enjoyed the chitarrine alla teramana, as well as the grilled meat and side dishes.

A peaceful and tranquil place where you can eat in peace by a pond surrounded by flowers and scents. Delicious food. Fair prices. Helpful and attentive staff, especially the Egyptian Taha, who fulfilled every wish with care and attention. Thank you all for giving us this beautiful day.

Relaxing, welcoming atmosphere, immersed in nature, with a small pond in front. Fresh, very good food, and attention to detail. Very friendly and professional service. LARGE DRAWBACK: Not suitable for small children. Such a large outdoor space could have had a children's playground. The pond is unsafe and dangerous for children. Finally, as for the children's pasta, they don't serve short pasta shapes. This, however, is justified by the great attention to product quality, offering only homemade pasta.
