L'Anfora Country Club In Basciano

Booked by chance for lunch with some friends, we found ourselves in a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The menu was varied, with a focus on Teramo cuisine. Everything we ordered was excellent! From the starter to the dessert, it was delicious and plentiful. Even though the place was busy and we arrived quite late, the service was excellent. We also appreciated the homemade gentian at the end of the meal. The entire exterior is also beautiful, with the lake and a lovely lawn. What more can I say? Definitely worth a visit to try the rest of the menu.

We went to this restaurant today for my mother-in-law's birthday... What can I say? A wonderful place, excellent cuisine, a very refined and warm atmosphere, very kind and professional waiters... All surrounded by a truly beautiful natural environment... An absolutely positive experience... We will definitely be back.

That day, I visited several churches nearby. The L'Anfora Country Club was recommended to me as a place to stay, and the lady at the convent booked it for me right away. I drove there at lunchtime to check in and ate lunch immediately, as the restaurant was closed in the evening. I received a very warm welcome. Since it was my first time ever in Abruzzo, I really wanted to try the arrosticini. Unfortunately, they weren't available. So, for my main course, I was recommended a specialty from the Teramo area – "mazzarelle." These are stuffed offal wrapped in spinach leaves and fried. Absolutely fantastic! Kudos to the kitchen! Kudos to the waiter, who was very attentive. I was very well looked after. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try any wine, as I had to drive. It was easy to strike up a conversation with the guests at the neighboring tables. I got some great tips about the area and local attractions.

My first time at Anfora, and it was love at first sight. The location was exceptional, the place clean and welcoming, the food exceptional, and last but not least, the service was truly professional, kind, and always smiling. A special mention goes to "Pharaoh" Taha, an Oscar-worthy waiter. Thank you for everything.

We ate yesterday, Monday, October 20th, there were 7 of us, and I must say that upon entering the beautiful setting, I already felt pampered. A very varied cuisine with well-cooked typical dishes that are careful to respect tradition (since not everyone cares)... what can I say... a wonderful lunch and a very friendly welcome from the owner. Thanks again, we will be back in even greater numbers!! 🙏💯💯💯

We found it by pure chance, and what a chance! Delicious dishes, friendly staff, and a charming location on a lake. Even though it was Sunday and all the tables were booked, they sat us down. We ordered one appetizer, two first courses, and a side dish. Reasonable prices! I absolutely recommend it!
