Excellent products with more than excellent prices, Calabrian and Emilian cuisine! Friendliness and Carmine always friendly and brilliant! We've been customers for years and we haven't changed! A nice 5 stars and just deserved!

6 of us had lunch with a meat and fish menu, everything was excellent and well looked after, a rustic, tidy and clean place. The lady who served us was very kind and the chef very friendly, excellent family management! We will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommended

I highly recommend it to everyone, the food is excellent, Carmine is very good and what can I say, it's a shame that you can only give 5 stars but trust me it's worth 100 I will definitely be back...

consiglio vivamente. molto cortesi e cordiali. mangiato molto bene (eravamo in 9 e abbiamo preso sia carne che pesce). non esiste menu ma solo perchè vengono proposti i piatti in funzione delle materie presenti in cucina. ritorneremo sicuramente

Abbiamo provato il menu’ di pesce ed era tutto fresco e ben cotto con porzioni abbondanti! Il locale è accogliente e Carmine molto disponibile. Consigliatissimo.

Fantastic experience at Circolo L'Ancora! The food was excellent, with dishes well presented and of excellent quality. The staff was welcoming, helpful and always with a smile, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The environment is refined and suitable for both couples and groups of friends or families. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and tasty evening!

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.
15/10/2024: Unfortunately it is closed I don't know for how long... Condolences to the family....

09/04/2025: Driven by many positive opinions we tried this restaurant and had a really good time 💪🏻 The tortelloni and the fried fish (the real highlight of the place) are highly recommended. The restaurant is simple and rustic with wooden tables in the summer and a space created from some gazebos, the view of the lakes on a sunny day is still priceless. Super approved!!
