Probably the best restaurant in the vicinity

We really wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately we went twice and weren’t convinced. It’s one of the only ‘upscale’ fish restaurant near the beach, but it’s simply way overpriced for the quality of the food. I wished we had taken pictures of both the grilled mix seafood and the frittura mista. Not only the portions were little but the quality and freshness really left to be desired. Same for two typical dishes of pasta. We had so many of those exact dishes in other restaurants during our holidays in Sicily, and there it was a big big miss. The service was nice and attentive. The view is beautiful and the restaurant clean/well kept. As we went both times for lunch, we didn’t try the pizzas.

I was hoping for better from the reviews. I can't say I had a bad meal, but it was definitely too expensive for the quality of the food: €19 for a seafood platter, the same price for a mixed fry. They were well-made, but in my opinion, not worth it. We didn't try the pizza, and perhaps we were wrong because it looked very inviting. Since they didn't offer house wine (which we found strange in that type of place), we opted for a glass: two fingers of white wine for €5. The alternative was bottles—if I'm not mistaken—for €26, a situation that left me a little unhappy. The service was attentive and courteous, but the atmosphere was a bit stuck in the '80s; perhaps they could reconsider. We'll definitely return for a pizza, a beer, and maybe a second opinion.

We spent a wonderful evening at this family restaurant. We ate excellent quality fish, cooked to perfection, and the staff were very kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

The food was very good. We had the seafood salad as an appetizer, followed by pasta with vongole and seafood risotto. Delicious.
