L'Ammurrata In Tropea

The location is lovely, offering a beautiful view of the Tropea sea. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man, but unfortunately, the man taking our orders arrived as soon as we were seated, rushing us, making it impossible to choose our dishes. He was also quite annoyed. Despite everything, we ate reasonably well, except for the first course, which, strangely, arrived less than five minutes later, so we assumed it was already ready. The tuna steak with onion was good, but I would pay more attention to the plating.

A little gem by the sea 🌊🍝 I went twice for lunch at L'Ammurrata and the experience was spectacular. The food is incredible; everything we tried was delicious and super filling. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact names of the dishes, but everything was delicious. The staff deserves a special mention: we were served by a very friendly and welcoming gentleman. When he realized we spoke Spanish, he called a girl who also spoke the language, and she was a delight. We asked for recommendations, and he suggested we try the typical Tropea fileja noodles with red onion (also typical of the area) and black olives... A total success! Plus, the view is spectacular, right in front of the beach. Since I was renting an umbrella nearby, it was perfect. I'm so happy to have found this place. I highly recommend it.

We've had lunch here twice. The view is obviously fantastic, and the prices are average. The staff's attitude could be improved; they're not very friendly, but they always respond with inappropriate jokes or at least counter any request. As for the food, the fried fish and seafood salad are excellent, and the first courses have very flavorful sauces that are a bit overcooked. Good work.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante in quanto avevamo prenotato ombrellone e lettini al lido San Leonardo sottostante. Ristorante veramente ottimo con materie di prima qualità e fresche e piatti preparati al momento. Consiglio l'impepata di cozze e l'insalata di mare e le verdure grigliate.

A pleasant lunch with a sea view L’Amurrata is a truly suggestive place, overlooking the wonderful sea of ​​Tropea. Relaxed atmosphere, well-kept location and dishes that enhance Calabrian cuisine in an elegant and genuine way. In the photo, the grilled squid: tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was kind and attentive, without excess. A pleasant and successful lunch, ideal for those who want to enjoy good food with a view that is worth the visit alone. Recommended!

The restaurant L'Ammurrata is an enchanting place, facing the sea and with a wide choice of food and fish... the best for those who on holiday want to treat themselves to a lunch or dinner at sunset in relaxation and with good food. The maître Giuseppe with his wife and the staff make you feel immediately welcomed, among friends and this adds that well-being to the holiday that we all seek. Finally, Tropea with its splendid beaches, the sea, its views and the hospitality of the local people is truly an oasis of relaxation where you can't wait to return.

Fantastic place with sea view. Well located restaurant with a position that everyone would envy. We ate the filejia alla tropeana, truly delicious! In addition, the seafood salad was truly excellent!! A round of applause to the guys in the dining room and the maitre, kind and very helpful! Highly recommended!
