L'Alternativa by Orsetto In Arzachena

L'Arternative by Orsetto is located in a complex with various other shops at an intersection right off the main road, but it's not particularly well signposted. Public transport connections are rather poor, but for those traveling by car, there are free parking spaces nearby. The restaurant offers ample covered seating; reservations weren't necessary. The interior is simple but original. The staff is very friendly, communicative, and efficient. The menu is extensive and offers a bit of everything. The dishes we ordered were fantastic, tasted excellent, and the portions were ideal—simply top-notch! The prices for the food are mid-range, and those for the drinks are mid-range. Be careful, though! The €3 cover is also charged separately. The restrooms were clean. I highly recommend the restaurant.

I came back this evening with my family, after 9 months, nothing has changed, we ate carbonara, amatriciana, saltimbocca, all very good. Very nice and professional staff, I recommend it, I have been coming to Costa Smeralda for 20 years and it is not easy to find places where you can eat well at a fair price.

If you are in the Porto Cervo area it is worth stopping by L'alternativa restaurant if you want to have dinner. The food here is delicious and the service is great! We were here with our dog and the servers were really attentive with her too!

Had lunch here several times and everything was very good, delicious food, fast and friendly service. Will come back!

A wonderfully authentic restaurant with fantastic Sardinian specialties. We chose a very good house wine to accompany our meal and can only say the very best about this place. The value for money is absolutely perfect, and we felt very comfortable. Highly recommended and a great alternative to the many pizzerias!

We were at the end of our holidays, started 10 days before from Cagliari passing through Sant'Antioco, Carloforte, Oristano, Nuoro etc. visiting as much as possible ... In truth, after many days spent tasting fish in all sauces, we needed "meat-eating" dishes so through the all positive reviews ... (only one negative with undeserved judgments given our experience) We opted for this restaurant in Porto Cervo (among other things very close to our hotel) and we had a great time!! Super friendly, helpful, and friendly staff ... we tasted carbonara, pinza, sliced ​​beef, salti in bocca alla romana and above all the very fresh and delicious strawberries and the icing on the cake "File ferru" offered by the restaurant !! Last but not least the price ... € 50/55 for 2 people drinks included. ... and sorry if it's little considering the location !!! So SUPER RECOMMENDED !!!!

Tuvimos una velada maravillosa en este restaurante cuidadosamente dirigido. Un agradecimiento especial a Bea – ella no solo nos sirvió, ella realmente nos entretuvo y cuidó durante toda la noche. Se nota que le apasiona lo que hace y que realmente quiere que cada huésped se vaya feliz. Como vegetarianos, nos sentimos muy bienvenidos. Había muchas opciones pensadas y deliciosas. La bruschetta fue especialmente adaptada para nosotros con alcachofas, aceitunas y tomates frescos, y era absolutamente delicioso. Junto a él vino el pan típico de Cerdeña y el aceite de oliva local, lo que añadió un hermoso toque regional. Compartimos un sabroso Cacio e Pepe, y luego probamos el Seitán en salsa de vino blanco, que Bea recomendó encarecidamente – ¡y no decepcionó! Fue uno de los momentos más destacados de la comida. Como postre, tuvimos un Tiramisu divino seguido de un expreso y una prueba de Myrto, el digestif tradicional de Cerdeña. El ambiente, la comida y especialmente la hospitalidad de Bea hicieron que esta noche fuera inolvidable. Muy recomendable!
