I've never eaten anything better. He was incredibly kind; he was organizing a party for the police, but he welcomed us, delighting us with his stories and the wisdom passed down from his father. I'm taking home a sweet memory, and I left a piece of my heart.

I saw that place in a vlog and we decided to go - cannoli are so tasty , fresh. We also took some other pastries and they were also very good. I recommend when in Taormina.

I had cannoli, a Sicilian specialty. I haven't tried it at other restaurants so I can't compare, but I think it was pretty high quality. The staff were very welcoming, typical of a tourist destination.

The Best Cannoli in Taormina You have to go to Roberto's because it's the pastry shop specializing in cannoli, made fresh daily and made to order. It's become a Taormina institution. It's 100% fresh, unlike other pastry shops, which are often prepared industrially. On the first day, we met Mr. Roberto during our first tasting and immediately had a very friendly interaction with the owner. It should also be said that in late August and early September, there are far fewer tourists and there are almost no lines. (During high season, be patient in the sun because it's worth it.) Mr. Roberto was very kind, taking the time to carefully explain to us all the work that goes into preparing this iconic Sicilian dessert. We were able to see him at work every morning, as it was our ritual after a good coffee. He also produces various dry biscuits and nougats, all of which are excellent. On our last morning, we made sure to stop by to say hello to Mr. Roberto and enjoy one last treat before our departure. Knowing the day before that we were leaving, he welcomed us with a big smile and two cannoli as a thank you gift for our daily visits. We left with 2 kg of pistachio and hazelnut nougat and the memory of a wonderful encounter with a wonderful person. I'm already looking forward to seeing him again on my next trip to Sicily. The cannoli is delicious, only the traditional version is available here. The sellers are very nice and the service is fast.
