A truly beautiful place and excellent food!!! Highly recommended!! We had a vegetable strudel appetizer, two first courses (pizzoccheri and seafood ragù), and the apple strudel (the espresso fiordilatte ice cream paired with it was exceptional), and everything was truly exceptional. The lake view also made the experience even more enjoyable. Must try!!!

An exclusive restaurant. The food is outstanding, standing out even among the excellent Italian cuisine. The portions aren't large, but they create a "wow" effect with the first bite. A very extensive wine selection, the menu is over a dozen pages long, and you'll find just about everything here – choosing a wine took us the longest. The service is professional, there's no language barrier, and the chef personally visits guests to ask about their impressions. The restaurant is meticulously crafted down to the last detail; even the glasses are handcrafted in a local factory, and the staff are happy to share information – we received a full catalog and all the information about them in response to our interest in the beautiful glasses. Here, every customer is treated with the utmost care and attention.

We had lunch😎One of the best risottos I've ever had, the pasta was phenomenal. Definitely worth a visit if you have less than 100 km to drive.

I was absolutely blown away by my dinner at this restaurant. The dishes are true works of art, demonstrating Chef Roberto's talent and passion. The mushroom risotto was extraordinary: creamy, balanced, and with an aroma that transported you straight to the forest. A true celebration of the raw ingredients. But the real surprise was the tuna tataki Milanese: a brilliant idea that combines the delicacy of tataki with a crispy, flavorful breading that pays homage to Milanese tradition. A bold and perfectly executed dish! The egg 2.0 deserves a special mention: an incredible reinterpretation, perfectly cooked and rich in unexpected textures and flavors. To top it all off, the wine cellar is excellent and very well-stocked, with labels that perfectly complement each course. Finally, the service was impeccable and attentive, from the first to the last minute. A five-star experience that I highly recommend to all lovers of high-quality cuisine. We'll be back very soon!!!

Trattoria La Madia

17/01/2026: I often return to La Madia, at least once every three months (COVID-19 permitting), and in recent years I've seen a volcano of creativity and flavors that has slowly become more refined: from the service to the dishes, from the tasting menu to the flavors, the chef's great creativity and his restaurant have, in my opinion, taken things to the next level. It's a shame there's no longer an à la carte menu, which I think remains a useful option, especially for those who already know the restaurant well. However, the tasting menu is rich and balanced, with dishes that deliver both guaranteed results and more daring ones. Last night, it was yet another confirmation, with a long-aged rib-eye steak, cauliflower in hay sauce, and orecchiette with turnip pesto that were truly dreamy. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, and the service never makes you feel uncomfortable; in fact, it feels like eating at your mother's... a somewhat sophisticated mother, let's say. Well done!

27/11/2025: Excellent experience with the "Menu Cibo di Mezzo" initiative. A beautiful and magical location that takes you back in time. The atmosphere is refined and the staff are knowledgeable. The menu is definitely interesting; I felt like a child again as I savored some of the flavors. Highly recommended.
26/11/2025: A sublime experience for the palate supported by an attentive service, it was the first time for me, I was truly super satisfied, dream flavors and consistencies, heartfelt compliments to the staff in general, for the preparation, the flavors of the dishes, for how they were presented and for the attention to detail, a big thank you for a unique experience.
