Nice place to have a coffee, something sweet or a proper meal. Their pizza was delicious especially the Diavola. The prices are also good.

We always eat ice cream here, firstly, they are made from natural ingredients, secondly, they are delicious, thirdly, they have a large selection, fourthly and lastly, for 4€ you get such a mountain of ice cream that you can't eat it all :)

28/03/2025: We confirm the excellent location at our table this morning! 😉 We really appreciated the abundance of jam filling on the croissant and the cream braid, as well as their deliciousness. Excellent cappuccino and excellent service!
13/03/2025: But they don't realize that that sand-colored coffee is watered down. Do they ever adjust the grinding based on the time? A good coffee must be creamy brownish, where the sugar remains afloat in the cream of the same coffee... Maybe it's dosed incorrectly, they use less but the coffee I've had in this bar has always been rubbish, in addition to the watered down taste, it has a poisonous aftertaste. In a bar you also have to pay attention to the coffee and above all to the coffee you serve

Trattoria Gigliorosso

19/04/2025: Siamo stati una sola volta al Giglio rosso e ci torneremo molto volentieri al prossimo viaggio a Catania. Abbiamo preso i rigatoni alla Norma e il tonno con le cipolle, ottimi. Un particolare ringraziamento al signor Giuseppe per l' accoglienza, la simpatia e i consigli che ci ha dato.
30/12/2024: Questo ristorante ci è stato consigliato da un dipendente dell'albergo in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Il cibo tipico catanese è stato buono e le porzioni sono state molto abbondanti, ma quello che ci ha maggiormente colpito è stata la gentilezza e la professionalità del cameriere che ha servito al nostro tavolo. Un pallino in più per il servizio.
