Labes Contemporary Bar In Catania

It was my place to taste the best wild berries and wild strawberry ice cream in Catania. On the other hand, the service was really... poor...

Pleasant place and good and plentiful food, we took a platter and a pizza, it was difficult to finish them all because it was so much, service was a bit confusing

I highly recommend getting the pizza here, it seems made by a pizzeria, not a bar!

We always eat ice cream here, first of all they are made of natural ingredients, secondly they are delicious, thirdly they have a large selection, fourthly and lastly for 4€ you get such a mountain of ice cream that you can't eat it all :)

Excellent meal, nice service. Lots of guests coming in and out - not that big. The choice of dishes is wide. Seating limited.

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristobar in Via Etnea..ci siamo stati 4 volte: il cibo è troppo buono! La pasta alla norma, gli spaghetti alla carbonara, la pizza piccante..tutto eccezionale! Volendo a 10 euro c'è un menu che comprende un antipasto, un primo a scelta, un secondo a scelta con contorno..(troppa roba!). e non si paga il coperto. Veramente consigliato. Una nota negativa sono i bagni: quasi impraticabili..rivolgetevi altrove se avete necessità.

From a place of this type located in a central area I would have expected very high prices and poor quality, but instead it was a pleasant surprise during our 2-day holiday in Catania. On the first day we tried the classic aperitif for €12 (it is also possible to request a seafood one for €18) consisting of various rustic products and a nice platter of cured meats, fontina, artichokes in oil, fantastic dried tomatoes and delicious olives. All washed down with a cocktail of your choice including our excellent spritz (probably the best I've ever tasted). The following evening we took the set menu, in our case consisting of chips and bruschetta, pasta alla norma, veal cutlet, grilled meat and mixed salad, for the modest sum of €10 per person (drink separately). Honest price, generous portions and very good meat. You can also find a cabaret selling varied pastries and ice creams. If I had to visit Catania again, I would happily return

Very good food in a set for €10/person. Appetizer, first course, second course, salad. Portions you can't eat. Spaghetti carbonara is amazing. We found this place by accident while receiving a leaflet. It's a good thing we didn't check the reviews here because we probably wouldn't have used it, but we recommend it and think the restaurant deserves a higher rating.

Average pizza. Unfortunately, some pieces of Prosciutto were difficult to chew. Nice service. It is worth looking for better places, e.g. opposite this place.
