But what really impressed me was their Fettuccine alla Bolognese. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauce is rich, deep-flavored and prepared with love, a true testament to tradition. One of the biggest advantages of La Zagara is their terrace, which is in natural shade. On hot summer days in Positano, this is invaluable. You can enjoy your meal without worrying about the sun, surrounded by pleasant greenery. Although you may have to wait a little for a seat, especially in season, this is actually a good sign – it shows how popular and appreciated the restaurant is. Patience pays off! All in all, La Zagara offers a combination of excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful natural shade, making it an ideal choice for lunch or dinner in Positano. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience a true taste of Italy!

Este lugar era tan bueno que volvimos de nuevo. Preciosa zona ajardinada resguardada por un dosel de árbol en una ubicación central. Los cafés eran excelentes, así como los pasteles del desayuno. El “cornetto con crema” es muy recomendable. Una buena selección de zumos de frutas recién exprimidos también. El personal era amable y eficiente y se hablaba un buen nivel de inglés.

I cannot express how wonderful of dining experience we had with La Zagara! The food was delicious! We shared a caprese salad and then my wife had a perfectly cooked Seabass (filleto di spigola al limone) and I had the La Sfiziosa pizza, all delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The star of the show was the people, because my god they were the most hospitable and pleasant people we’ve talked to on our trip through Italy. We met the owner and her family, she was the quintessential Italian mother full of love and good stories! In addition we were served by an incredibly kind young man named Alphonso. Who set the tone for our meal and at the end gave us a shot a fennel digestif liqueur and then a shot of herbed amaro. Lastly, the view of Positano at night in their garden dining terrace was gorgeous. I highly recommend stopping by for a good meal and incredibly kind people! Thank you for spending time talking with us and letting us pet your adorable black lab and Shiba Inu!

Thank you so much!...it was exactly what we were looking for: sitting in the shade on a beautiful terrace, enjoying great service, very attentive but not intrusive staff, and the food was super delicious and very authentic!...2 dishes, both very good...and the local wine, which went perfectly with it!...highly recommended!!!🫶👌👍😋

Nice place, in the center of Positano. We stopped for a quick lunch and found friendly service, an excellent pizza and an excellent fish-based appetizer. Lunch is served on a beautiful quiet terrace. The dessert is also very good. Recommended

Great atmosphere and views. Covered with vines and foliage. Visited here for drinks and dessert. Friendly and efficient service. A cheaper cover charge than some other places. It is cheaper to take away than to sit in.

☕️ COFFEE and CAKE = excellent 🫶🏻🥰 we stopped for espresso and quick pastry (at the counter) and it was so good we came back twice ! I would not eat a dinner here as it looks just okay, BUT PASTRY was to die for ! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

La Zagara is one of the best pastry shops in Positano, undoubtedly the best place to stop to taste their specialties and above all enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of this wonderful village on the Amalfi coast.

Excellent place, not too crowded and very delicious food with fresh ingredients. Also, the view is amazing.
