A typical restaurant in the heart of Vasto.
We ate truly wonderfully.
Simple dishes, yet rich in flavor and tradition.
We had the cacio e ove (cheese and egg) meatballs and Vasto-style eggplant. Everything was delicious, but the tomato flavor was truly intense and full-bodied.
Then the ravioli with ventricina and ravioli with burrata and zucchini pesto and chopped pistachios. These were also superb.
If I really had to find a flaw, it was the above-average price of €64 for two appetizers, two first courses, and two bottles of water.

We had one the best dinners on our vacation in Vasto at La Votta Piene! The food and service were outstanding and they were happy to accomodate my vegan husband. The fava and chicory antipasto (naturally vegan) was wonderful, and their pallotte cacio è ove were delicious! The house made mezzi paccheri (his with sugo al'pomodoro, mine with sugo di ventricina) was outstanding, as was the local (Francavilla) bottle of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo...just a wonderful experience from start to finish!

We stayed in Vasto for five nights and dined here three times because the restaurant is very nice and welcoming, the food very good, and the wines are plentiful, including a nice selection of natural wines.
Compliments to the owner and all his staff!

A delightful place! The atmosphere of real Italy, with provincial sincerity and warmth, with amazing food and an excellent collection of wines. I especially want to note the Parmigiano di melanzane - it's a masterpiece!!! I'm ready to eat this dish every day!

Vasto is a very pretty town, and by chance I found myself having dinner there and found the food to be very good—the arrosticini and cheeses were of excellent quality, there was a nice selection of wines, and the staff and owner were very polite and professional.

Everything was good.
The location was also excellent, truly traditional and welcoming.
Prices were perhaps slightly above average, but you pay for quality.
The only flaw was that the entrecote ribeye was listed for €24 on the menu, but on the bill it was €25.
I'd like to point out that we noticed this at home from the online menu, otherwise we would have certainly pointed out the inaccuracy.
In any case, I recommend the place and would return.

Io e il mio compagno ci siamo recati qui la prima sera della nostra vacanza in Abruzzo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità dei prodotti e dal servizio!
Abbiamo preso due primi veramente buone le Sagne al sugo di pomodoro! E chiaramente non potevano mancare gli arrosticini veramente tutto ottimo!
