Excellent quality, kindness and accuracy whether it's a quick midday lunch or thematic proposals on the weekends.
Unfortunately the place is small.
The mixed fried food excels above all else, I won't describe it.

Elisabetta's cuisine is exquisite, refined and genuine. La Volta Antica, family-run, is a place enclosed in a small yet welcoming environment in typical mountain style. On cold winter days a wood-burning fireplace helps to liven up the room. Themed evenings are often proposed according to the food characteristics of the current season. Arrive in the main square of Mezzenile, get out of the car, take three steps and you will be greeted with courtesy and quality. From savory to sweet, the journey will certainly be pleasant, accompanied by good wine. Absolutely fair prices.

we only stopped for breakfast but the promise of a fish-based menu will see us return. The intimate, simple room with brick vault and fireplace is well designed. The cake is excellent.

We stopped for dinner during our walk through the valleys, we ate mouth-watering, everything was delicious, the staff was helpful and kind. More than promoted!!!

I arrived somewhat by chance and I'm still at the table. Today the menu was obligatory and there was Piedmontese mixed fried food, preceded by three tastings of appetizers. All really good! The fried food is nice and dry and fried in good oil, the starters are delicious. In the mixed fried food I missed the semolina and apple a bit, there was a lot of meat and vegetables only fennel and pumpkin, but the quality was truly excellent!
Now I'm waiting for dessert and then, of course, the bill. Let's hope for the best😂aaaahhh here! They brought me semolina in the "sweets" section... maybe the apple will also arrive😉 anyway, good, good, everything is excellent!
Here, the apple has also arrived, and not just that... pancakes, amaretti, hot zabaglione, baci di dama, pavesino with raspberry, meliga paste pancakes... a profusion of wonderful fried sweets. Really, if you happen to pass by here don't miss this little place, it's absolutely worth it!

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante con amici. Non vi sono molti coperti ma il locale a conduzione famigliare è molto carino. Una grossa nota di merito alla chef che ha proposto dei piatti tipici piemontesi ma rivisitati e impiantati in modo egregio. Il risotto co mirtilli è pancetta una delizia. Complimenti.

Typical Piedmontese cuisine and more, all very good, a note of merit in particular for desserts, I ate a cake with almonds and cherries. Amazing! They are very kind and friendly, we will be back soon!
