Small restaurant in the center of Cupello with few seats that can guarantee impeccable service and refined and tasty cuisine. Marcello knows his stuff, he represents the innkeeper to perfection, with sympathy and competence. We had dinner here for two evenings during our stay in Vasto and we particularly appreciated the grilled lamb, the selection of local cured meats and cheeses, and the suckling pig cooked at low temperatures. In short, if you are in the area it is an obligatory stop, even for fans of spontaneously fermented artisanal wines.

The host Marcello welcomes and immediately puts you at ease.
The house starter and lamb-based main courses do not disappoint at all. Good wine list. Well done!
The only flaw, the usual table with parents completely at the mercy of two ill-educated children, who were placed right in the center of the terrace for everyone's torment... and to think that we had initially chosen the restaurant for a friendly sign from the manager who welcomed children only if polite and respectful....oh well!

Coming to this tavern is a real treat. Marcello, the innkeeper, delights his guests with traditional dishes that are nothing short of perfect. If you want to taste the Alto Vastese you must necessarily stop by here!

Marcello welcomed us in a friendly and pleasant way, making us feel welcome, far from home. He offered us a delicious starter of the day (a parmigiana) and a first course each. The wine was as good as the price of the lunch. So I would say compliments to the innkeeper, his staff and his good cuisine, with research but without abandoning tradition 🍝
I applaud the attention to gluten regarding my wife's celiac disease. Well done!

Osteria nel centro di Cupello gestita da Marcello con grande passione per la tradizione abruzzese. Il menu contiene piatti della tradizione vastese ottimamente preparati e innovazioni nel solco, comunque, del costante rispetto per le materie prime locali. Atmosfera amichevole, ci si sente davvero accolti come da un vecchio amico! Consigliatissimo!!!!
