Amazing find. No pressure to enter and really welcoming when you do. Food feels homely. Service feels personal. Ignore the low score. This is a great place.

We came across this restaurant and it must have been the best food we had in Italy so far. We had grilled octopus, zuppa di pesce, gnocchi, ravioli, pasta with bacon and white sauce, the cheese platter, wine and a few desserts. It was all excellent. Our waitress was the friendliest person we encounter so far, we felt as if we were family (we didnt her name, but she has a baby granddaughter and a 7 yr old at home!) If you are reading this review, go eat there, the prices are super reasonable as an added bonus.

Best PRAWNS I have ever ate. All super fresh. Green salad like from my grandmother garden full of sun, even in October, so fresh. Traditional Italian lady-owner with no mobile, but phone 💗 Only one waiter speaks English, I was glad for him being there for every evening I came. He knew ingredients, so I could choose well, because I have food allergies.

We’re visiting here from USA and came upon this place. I usually always go by reviews and was too hungry to look. After sitting down and raving to my husband about how this has been our favorite food in all of our Italy visit so far. I’m done checking reviews, I have no faith in them anymore. The food was superb. There was so much flavor considering a lot of the Italian restaurants we’ve been to have been very bland throughout Italy.

21/02/2026: This restaurant enjoys a truly splendid location in the heart of Naples, with great potential that, however, is currently under-exploited. The welcome is rather cold and distant, which is surprising, especially in a city renowned for its warmth and friendliness. The overall upkeep of the premises could also be improved, particularly in terms of cleanliness. It's a shame, because the location deserves more attentive and engaging management, capable of fully expressing its quality and charm. With a few more touches, the restaurant could certainly offer a much more pleasant experience.
26/01/2026: I was in Naples for 4 days at the beginning of December and we went to D'Alessio for breakfast 3 days in a row; delighted with the service and the food, good cappuccino, we discovered the graffa, very good, the sfogliatella frolla also one of the best I've tried. If I go back to Naples I will repeat 😊

03/02/2026: The bar is located across from the train station and McDonald's. The staff is welcoming and very helpful, the service is attentive, and the selection of delicacies is wide and of excellent quality. Greetings from us, Sicilians, to the afternoon and evening staff; you were wonderful. I highly recommend it, and if I return to Naples, I'll definitely be back.
