08/03/2026: My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch in this beautiful village, and choosing Antica Osteria del Borgo (also known as Piccola Osteria del Borgo) proved to be a perfect choice. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for when visiting a place so steeped in history: welcoming, intimate, and authentic. We started with a Platter of DOP cured meats that spoke for itself: the quality of the ingredients was excellent, just as you'd expect in these parts. Next, we couldn't help but try the classic Pisarei and Faśö: expertly prepared, with a rich, heart-warming sauce. But the real surprise was the braised chestnuts and porcini mushrooms, accompanied by perfectly crispy fried polenta; a fragrant and tender seasonal pairing, a dish we'll remember for a long time. To finish on a high note, I indulged in the Bargnolino: a truly artisanal delicacy that provided the perfect finishing touch to a memorable meal. Special mention goes to the staff: impeccable service, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling waiters, capable of making you feel pampered without being intrusive.
