Exquisite fish, reviewable staff, unprofessional waitresses

I had been to this place a few years ago (before covid) and was pleasantly impressed by the location and the quality of the food. The location has remained the same with a view from above on the coast of flowers, a well-kept room and a pleasant atmosphere. As for the food I was quite disappointed. I'm talking about the dishes I had the opportunity to try: seafood appetizer, not bad but not very generous portions for the price at which it is offered (€26); well-made mixed fry, but even in this case the price seems excessive to me (€23); black tagliolini that are beautiful to look at but the taste of the cow's milk cheese overwhelms the flavor of the fish which you can barely taste (€20); hedgehog bavette, nothing exciting (€24). Lazy service. In conclusion, the bill is high and the dishes are not up to par. I hope something will be changed on the menu, because with those prices the customer expects another type of dishes.

Every time we are in Alassio, a stop at the La Vigna restaurant is a must. Located in an enchanting position, the restaurant offers a spectacular view over the entire bay, with the sea that seems to merge with the sky. A postcard panorama that alone is worth the visit. The staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful, capable of making you feel at home. The cuisine is simply sublime: dishes with attention to the smallest details, with authentic flavors and quality raw materials. All at prices absolutely in line with the experience offered. Super recommended!

4 of us went for lunch. Service... the beginning was a bit tense... because to get at least water at the table we almost had to grab a waiter by the elbow... It's okay... it happens. The starters were good - there's nothing to say... 2 dips, the roasted octopus on potato cream (good, but the portion is microscopic) and the sliced ​​hamon (very good. There's nothing to say). Like seconds. The catch of the day - small, but good. Two cuts - nothing special with the non-chewable pieces.. The grilled prawns... they brought us half cooked... they were seared on one side and on the other - no... in the end they were not raw and not grilled... as a side dish - a raw carrot and two baked chips... to our question how they must be raw or grilled, the head nurse assured them that they must be grilled and suggested making two more grilled prawns... now we didn't feel like waiting... Then at the end of lunch we discovered that there were things off the menu that no one offered us... In the end the bill of €310 (with half a bottle of rose that tasted like nothing and 3 glasses of red) seems like a rip-off to me... do you pay for the view?

Sotto consiglio siamo andati per il nostro anniversario, le aspettative erano alte e sono state pienamente soddisfatte. Piatti buoni, curati e abbondanti. Qualche piccolo intoppo sul servizio, ma nulla di grave, il pranzo e' andato molto bene Cantina dei vini degna di nota Punto di riferimento per noi in zona

Ci sono stata in una uggiosa domenica di novembre. Per raggiungere il locale è necessario percorrere 10 minuti di strada un pochino stretta ma..ne vale davvero la pena. Servizio molto attento e cibo al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Oltre alle proposte di mare vi sono anche alcune di terra. Mi sento di consigliarlo: un vero percorso di piaceri della tavola dal vino al cibo. Ci ritornerò volentieri.
