La Via Del Sale In Torino

We were planning on eating somewhere else when we stumbled upon this restaurant. We looked at the menu, and the maître d' caught us off guard, making us laugh, so we decided to stop here. There are two indoor dining rooms and an outdoor area. The portions were just right so we weren't weighed down. We ordered an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert: raw Piedmontese Fassone beef with shaved parmesan and anchovies spread over steamed potatoes with salsa verde (both excellent); agnolotti del plin with three-meat ragù stuffed with roast beef; and tajarin pasta with grey rabbit and thyme-flavored zucchini (just as delicious as the dish itself); a warm Piedmontese hazelnut tart on a gianduia cream (I would have mopped up the cake here too if it weren't for the fact that I choke on powdered sugar); and Amalfi lemon sorbet (you can order it neat or drowned). Definitely excellent value for money, and above all, the staff were kind and friendly. The tasting menu is available (we were tempted by the idea, but after the main course, we wouldn't have gone home). Highly recommended, and we'll return if we're ever in town again.

I must admit that we walked a lot and we stumbled upon this address by chance... the best!! Pleasant service, a very good meal and the mint dessert was to die for! If I come back to Turin, I'll stop by!

Truly beautiful and elegant location near the center of Turin, easy to reach, fresh pasta (excellent quality), abundant but light dishes to eat, adequate service, good value for money.

Excellent tavern with a slightly eccentric but still very helpful staff. I recommend the veal with tuna sauce and the roast with puree, the first courses are sufficient. 2 stars for the environment because the air conditioning did not work properly. Also suitable for celiacs, I think I would go back anyway

I had to organize a business dinner, it went very well. Welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. Menu also in English, it was very useful, since some colleagues came from abroad. Excellent also the menu offer at 35 euros. I will definitely go back. Thanks :)

Nel cuore del centro di Torino un luogo caldo e accogliente dove abbiamo assaporato la tradizione piemontese attraverso il menù degustazione. Tartare, tortini, tajarin e succulenti agnolotti, arrosti come da tradizione e ottimi dolci. Complimenti a tutto il personale per la cortesia e l'allegria, Consigliamo vivamente.

Anzitutto la cortesia: chiediamo due piatti NON compresi nel menù degustazione, e ci consentono di averli, cosa non scontata. I primi, assolutamente raffinati, dai sapori molto particolari e anche "forti" ma quando è arrivata la torta di mele "rovesciata" al Calvados e resa flambè, si sono superati... Carta dei vini assolutamente a livello, rapporto qualità prezzo notevole, accoglienza, come detto, eccezionale.
