I recently had the pleasure of dining at this traditional Abruzzese trattoria, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Each dish had that genuine homemade touch that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a real taste of Abruzzo. The prices were more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions. It’s definitely a place where you can enjoy a full meal without worrying about spending too much. The staff was warm, attentive, and truly welcoming, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Passing by as a tourist, spotted through Google reviews. My favorite trattoria, small with a friendly atmosphere, perfect for an evening with your partner or even with friends. Excellent value for money, and since I'm from the Langhe, it's more than excellent. Their strong point is the pasta, which is strictly fresh, as it's made in-house. For foodies, this trattoria is a must-try.

Highly recommended trattoria, with delicious bruschetta, charcuterie, and cheese platters. Their homemade Gricia pasta was simply SPECTACULAR. The lamb and arrosticini were also top-notch. I'd go back tomorrow. The staff made me feel like I was a guest in their home. KUDOS to the owner, I had a wonderful time.

Maria Luisa's traditional cuisine restaurant is always a guarantee, and every time we come to L'Aquila, it's a regular stop. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

We had a delicious dinner, a mix of meat, lamb, sausage, and arrosticini. Everything was delicious, especially the lamb. Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommended.
