La Veranda In Arenzano

This is a decent place to stay, check in was reasonably quick, room was clean, seemed a bit old but still good. Breakfast was decent. Would stay again.

Excellent refined hotel, excellent service in front of the sea

Old hotel with partly renovated rooms but overall nothing special.

What a faboulous place with splendid staff! I spent 3 days with my family in this very elegant hotel right in front of the sea, or "pieds dans l'eau" as they say in french. We have a 1 year old boy and everything was perfect: the crib in the room, the kids swimming pool, the great welcome we got from everybody from staff. The main swimming pool for adults is bid and clean. The food at the lunch restaurant was great, I particularly recommend the nicoise salad and the trofie al pesto. For the evenings, we dined at their elegant evening restaurant where I recommend their fish dishes. They also organized live music on friday and saturday night, the 2 singers were very very good. The gym is small but it has everything you need to work out. The breakfast was fantastic in variety of choices. Nearby there is a very nice park with peacocks and beautiul pedestrian street that goes all the way from Arenzano to Cogoleto right in front of the sea. So, all in all, we had a fantastic time in this boutique hotel and, as Terminator would say...... "I will be back!" :-) PS a special mention goes to the member of staff SILVANO, a very kind man who took fantastic care of us and that I wish to thank.

We really liked the hotel, we spent two beautiful weeks at the end of June, there was the beach and the swimming pool and the restaurant had a menu and service adequate for a four star and the room was quiet, we slept really well, the bathroom, on the other hand, had some gaps, but they told us that they would be renovating it shortly. Obviously the prices weren't exactly low, but we still plan to go back.

In my opinion the hotel is not a 4* hotel. A bit outdated, two old, slow elevators that don't show which floor you are on. The hallway to the rooms is narrow with carpet (a bit grubby) leading up to the room. Our room for 2 nights was 227. The door frame felt like it was falling apart, the door felt like it couldn't be closed properly because there was about 1 cm of play with the frame. Once we arrived safely in the room, there was barely enough room for 2 people and 1 suitcase. Tight, very tight! Minibar ok but no coffee. Bathroom in the style of the 80s and the shower 50x50cm is also very narrow! Service and staff good and friendly. Location good, beach so-so. I wouldn't go anymore.
