La Vela In Paratico

I came to this place with my boyfriend a few days ago and I can only review it positively. The preparation was very quick and what I ate was really good tasting. The service was quite quick and the staff very friendly.

Let me start by saying that I'm sorry to write this review because this has always been one of my favorite places, I often came to have an aperitif with its fantastic appetizers, and the pizza they made was very good. I haven't been there for months and I was only there a few days ago. I have to say that I found it really letting go. The environment wasn't very clean, furthermore the boy who served us, no matter how hard he tried, struggled and wasn't particularly attentive to our needs. But the thing that disappointed me the most was the pizza, apparently they have changed the way of preparing it because now it is no longer thick and soft like they used to make it. It's really a shame, this place has so much potential also thanks to the beautiful location, I hope it returns to what it once was!

Excellent location on Lake Iseo for an aperitif with friends

Made the mistake of stopping here for dinner. Ordered a sandwich, pasta, and arancino. The only compliment I could give the food is it was hot. The latter two were definitely microwaved. Don’t be fooled by the sign out front saying, “Burgers and fish” - they have neither. The seafront view is nice, prices were not outrageous (though drinks were typically expensive) and the service was acceptable but the meal had frankly zero quality.

The place itself is very nice, the interior is well looked after and the tables outside overlook the lake. The availability of parking next to the venue certainly adds points. However, the service is always slow and disinterested, fortunately in my experience it has never been rude, but it certainly cannot be said that the customer is made to feel appreciated. Food and drinks were normal, without infamy and without praise.
