One of the best places in Varese and its province. We feel at home every time because we eat so well and are welcomed so warmly. Every Sunday they have live music that's delightful and engaging. There should be more places like this, but on the other hand, La Vecchia Varese is unique. Thanks guys!

A welcoming place with friendly, helpful staff. The food is simply excellent, from the burgers to the legendary cutlet, not to mention the tartare with mustard ice cream... incredible! The quality and variety of beers, traditional and local liqueurs, are also excellent. I'll definitely be back!

Recommended by friends for its proximity to the theater (I confirm, a 3-minute walk, very convenient!) My son and I had two amazing burgers! Excellent ingredients, the potatoes are delicious and included in the dish! A special compliment to the couple (I assume the owners), super helpful and friendly! We were quite late and couldn't be late for the theater, they served us very quickly and then welcomed us back for dessert and coffee! We'll definitely be back!
I also applaud the room with the sound-absorbing panels, finally a small place where you can speak quietly!
I recommend booking because it's quite small.

The atmosphere is very noisy, the food is extremely good, though not exactly cheap. I recommend the cutlet, it's fantastic.

Mediocre, with some significant weaknesses. The burger tasted okay, but the meat was too raw. The service was disappointing; the waitresses were unfriendly, and the wait for the food was extremely long.

Dishes with very good seasonal ingredients.
The parcels are excellent, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is delicious, and the plum ice cream/sorbet is good.
The pumpkin lasagna was a bit dry, and the fillet steak was very tender.
Very friendly staff.
Reservations are required.

We came on vacation from France. The lovely waitress spoke to us in very good French and took the time to explain the menu and dishes to us. We thank you for this effort, which is very appreciated when traveling abroad!
The dishes were very good and homemade. There was plenty of choice. Overall, the whole team was friendly! Thank you.
