Really like this place. A true “hidden gem” - the food is wonderful and the service is kind and polite.

We had an wonderful evening today. The waiter even was so kind and gave us an English explanation of all the dishes due to our very very basic Italian skills. We felt heartly welcomed and it was a pleasure to be a guest. Big recommendation! We started with a lovely cheese plate, had two different pastas and a tiramisu as a dessert - and everything was just perfect. You will love it!

Cute setting. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a wonderful place with great hospitality. They even recommended an ice cream place and wrote the name of it down for us.

Per non arrivare fino alla consueta Ariccia abbiamo tentato la fortuna su Velletri e ci hanno ingolosito le buone recensioni. Il locale non è molto grande, ma tenuto bene, forse una vecchia cantina o bottega. Non ha parcheggio davanti. Abbiamo preso un semplice antipasto di formaggio e prosciutto (non ricordo la provenienza) ed erano buonissimi. Poi le classiche amatriciana, carbonara e una pasta fatta da loro con le verdure. Erano eccellenti. Non so quanto e se si discostano dal disciplinare dei piatti tipici ma da 1 a 10 abbiamo dato 10 alla carbonara e 9,5 agli altri 2. Una sorpresa veramente. Consigliatissimo.

The chef is really good and the staff also knows how to advise very well based on customer needs. The value for money is excellent. Well what can I say, I'll be back tomorrow evening!!

An experience to absolutely repeat! At the Vecchia Taverna di Velletri I found a perfect balance between tradition and quality. Homemade pasta, genuine ingredients and customer care that really makes the difference. Each dish was presented with care and competence, but the cheese tastings had something magical: they brought me back to childhood flavors and memories. Tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon? A true delight for the palate. And the dessert... a standing ovation ending. If you are in Velletri, treat yourself to a stop in this restaurant: it's really worth it.

Taverna piccola e accogliente nel centro storico di Velletri. Si respira un’aria familiare e i proprietari sono molto cordiali. Abbiamo mangiato fettuccine fatte in casa buonissime ed una tagliata di manzo squisita! Abbiamo accompagnato con una gradevole birra artigianale ed un soave calice bianco del Lazio. Per dolce un tiramisù fatto in casa e rivisitato al momento con pavesini al posto di savoiardi. Serata trascorsa benissimo, in un’atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante. Consigliato!
