The old tavern is a special place, the friendliness of the owner, the good food and the charming venue make you feel at home straight away.
The chef is really good and the staff also knows how to advise very well based on customer needs.
The value for money is excellent.
Well what can I say, I'll be back tomorrow evening!!

An experience to absolutely repeat!
At the Vecchia Taverna di Velletri I found a perfect balance between tradition and quality. Homemade pasta, genuine ingredients and customer care that really makes the difference.
Each dish was presented with care and competence, but the cheese tastings had something magical: they brought me back to childhood flavors and memories.
Tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon?
A true delight for the palate.
And the dessert... a standing ovation ending.
If you are in Velletri, treat yourself to a stop in this restaurant: it's really worth it.

Pasta handmade on the spot by the same person who brings the dish to the table, preceded by bread and oil, both sublime. But also a cheese apparently produced by a single shepherd. Simplicity and sophistication together, the best of life.

Five stars, because there aren't six. Excellent food, from the first courses, with homemade pasta, to the exceptional meat, side dishes and desserts. Family run, friendly environment, well-finished and attentive cuisine, even for the wines, and genuine. Excellent quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back.

Delightful place where we had lunch with friends on the occasion of a dance competition in the nearby theater, familiar and welcoming environment, very nice hostess, quality and genuine food, honest price, see you next time to try the matured meats which promise very well!!!

All very good! We tasted a first course (velletrana), a Sicilian meat with an excellent level of maturation and exquisite side dishes. Winter dishes and top combinations!
The service was excellent: everyone was very nice (the owners and the waiter 💫)

Che dire.. abbiamo trascorso una piacevole domenica alla vecchia taverna, consigliata da un ragazzo del posto. La qualità dei prodotti è ottima, ma il tutto è stato reso unico dall’accoglienza e dal servizio che abbiamo ricevuto! Sicuramente torneremo presto!
