We ate very well
After ordering they offered us small bruschettas with organic oil from Lanuvio, very fragrant to follow
My daughter and I had mezze maniche all'amatriciana and my wife had porchetta di manzo co patate arrosti
The first ones were rich and tasty as per tradition, the second one was divinely prepared with hours of work for a succulent result
Since it was lunch, with a very high outside temperature, while inside the climate was perfect, we went straight to the coffee available in three versions, strong, delicate and normal
In short, as I write this review from the sofa at home in Ostia I am still licking my lips
Highly recommended and thanks to the lady and her son

Cute setting. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a wonderful place with great hospitality. They even recommended an ice cream place and wrote the name of it down for us.

The old tavern is a special place, the friendliness of the owner, the good food and the charming venue make you feel at home straight away.
The chef is really good and the staff also knows how to advise very well based on customer needs.
The value for money is excellent.
Well what can I say, I'll be back tomorrow evening!!

An experience to absolutely repeat!
At the Vecchia Taverna di Velletri I found a perfect balance between tradition and quality. Homemade pasta, genuine ingredients and customer care that really makes the difference.
Each dish was presented with care and competence, but the cheese tastings had something magical: they brought me back to childhood flavors and memories.
Tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon?
A true delight for the palate.
And the dessert... a standing ovation ending.
If you are in Velletri, treat yourself to a stop in this restaurant: it's really worth it.

Pasta is handmade on the spot by the same person who brings the dish to the table, preceded by bread and olive oil, both sublime. But also a cheese apparently produced by a single shepherd. Simplicity and sophistication combined, the pinnacle of life.

Taverna piccola e accogliente nel centro storico di Velletri. Si respira un’aria familiare e i proprietari sono molto cordiali. Abbiamo mangiato fettuccine fatte in casa buonissime ed una tagliata di manzo squisita! Abbiamo accompagnato con una gradevole birra artigianale ed un soave calice bianco del Lazio. Per dolce un tiramisù fatto in casa e rivisitato al momento con pavesini al posto di savoiardi. Serata trascorsa benissimo, in un’atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante.

A pranzo in coppia, l'inizio non è andato male, 1 antipasto di prosciutto 2 bruschette a testa una bottiglietta di vino da 375 ml un'acqua minerale e due primi.
Passiamo al dolce e qui le dolenti note, 2 millefoglie per un totale di 12 euro, dolce che di millefoglie proprio non aveva nulla, un cumulo di una strana crema gommosa quasi immangiabile e 4 scegliete di biscotto.
Ah dimenticavo un amaro di genziana a 6 euro e un caffè per un totale di 87 euro...ed è tutto.
