We visited this restaurant during a short stay in L'Aquila. We wanted to try some local dishes. Everything was excellent.
The fregnacce, maltagliati, reminded me of my childhood.
The chitarrina with white ragù, porcini mushrooms, and saffron, was our Sunday special.
The arrosticini and antipasti were also excellent.
The staff was extremely kind and impeccable.

La Vecchia Stazione Restaurant is definitely a place that meets customer needs. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the staff are attentive. I'm sure they've given the proper attention to people with disabilities. I wanted to compliment them on the detailed explanations they provided. Finally, seeing young people enthusiastically serving was a real pleasure. I highly recommend it, and it's worth a try.

The two of us had an appetizer of fried pizzas and prosciutto; a Margherita and a Norcina; a tiramisu and a crumble with cream; and a liter of water and a liter of beer to drink. All for €37.
I'd say it was very fair.
The girls who served us were beautiful, smiling, and very friendly.
We'll definitely be back 👍🏻
Edit: you absolutely have to try the meat. So many different cuts and types to suit all tastes!

We had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, both out of curiosity and because the husband, being in the sector, wanted to taste dishes made properly. We had a great time, treated really well, a big compliment to the girls in the dining room, very attentive and competent, both for the courtesy, the smile and the availability regarding the explanations of the dishes and a compliment to both the Chef and the owner Mirko for his availability.

Good food, excellent service, and a warm welcome are this place's calling card.
I recommend it for its excellent quality and good price. The complete menu, from appetizer to dessert, is €35.

Welcoming, renovated restaurant.
Excellent house-style appetizers, including fried pizzas, and truly high-quality cured meats and cheeses.
Very good pizza and pasta.
Prices are a bit high, at least for the specialty pizzas.
