It's Joseph! the owner who seems like a crazy bumblebee and very nice. He has an athletic allure and although he is no longer a beginner you will struggle to keep up with him. He follows you, anticipates you, serves you food as much as he can, he is hospitable and his wife is a great cook. I stayed with him, I had a great time and I met new friends. Location surrounded by greenery within a garden which already announces the restaurant's approach to rediscovering the good flavors of the past and genuinely home-made cuisine.
We tasted some very tasty artichokes and the La Vecchia Quercia appetizer (super abundant), very appetizing first courses (very generous portions) and the incredible polenta both with ribs and sausages and the mushrooms and truffle one.
All good, plentiful and very tasty.
Friendly and quick service. Old-time trattoria prices!

Friends living in the area brought us to this authentically charming restaurant, and we were welcomed as family. Every course and every morsel were fantastic - a meal we will always remember, including the delightful local wines. A small bed and breakfast, we went in to eat something, from the welcome and the place it seemed like we were going to eat at a friend's house, and in fact the owner with his wife and daughter welcomed us like two people at home, we ate very good and all homemade, some magnificent homemade gnocchi with mutton sauce, from times gone by, scallops in wine and mutton with chicory and potatoes grilled more than good, all cooked to perfection, ancient flavors and large portions the norm... we will certainly return for the welcome, for the food and for the truly surreal environment with a view towards a magnificent mountain chain.
