I'm on vacation in Umbria with my girlfriend, and we immediately fell in love with this place. The reviews aren't lying: excellent pizza, minimal wait time, and friendly, professional staff. We even had a lovely chat with the owner, a wonderful person. Recommended for Neapolitan pizza lovers.

The "casareccia" pizza with sautéed Vesuvius datterini tomatoes was divine. The photo shows how it looks, but I'll leave the taste to you to experience it yourself. Nello's golden hands are always a guarantee!

The pizza comes out of the wood-fired oven and looks better than it tastes. The tomato sauce is unseasoned. It soaks the crust, making it rubbery. The crust is thick and crispy. This means the pizza has to be removed from the hot oven even though the crust isn't cooked through yet.

Excellent pizza, the only shame was that the bill wasn't exactly the amount we were supposed to, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I don't think anyone wants to see their bill almost doubled due to a typo.

Great restaurant! The waiter was amazing, nothing to complain about. The pizzas are creamy, the crust is really soft and crispy at the same time! Simply the best pizzas around! I highly recommend it!

13/01/2026: We went to this typical Osteria for lunch. The staff were very kind and professional, and the service was fast and attentive. The appetizers were delicious; I recommend the baffo all'orvietana. For the first courses, the cappelletti were delicious, but the ombrichelli all'amatriciana lacked flavor. The crème brulee was good, but it was still cold and hadn't formed the infamous caramelized sugar crust. The tiramisu was passable. A glass of wine at €6.50 is truly excessive. All in all, this is a place I'd give another chance.
10/01/2026: The pistachio pasta, arrabbiata, wild boar, soup of the day, and Angela's eggplant mozzarella were all delicious. The staff were all friendly, attentive to our needs, and quick to respond. The tiramisu dessert was so delicious that I ordered more. The chocolate at the bottom of the tiramisu was chewy and sweet.

24/11/2025: Aside from the friendliness, I'd say all the products are top-notch, always fresh and delicious. Not to mention the panettone, especially the one with berries. Mouth-watering, and not just for the eyes.
