Despite the climate, pastry making must respect traditions and here appear the coppers of Naples. You should know coppers, which have now become part of the desserts of this period. You know that I like to go around bars and pastry shops and this morning, Sunday, I found them, well lined up in the shop window of Salvatore Damusco "in the old Gulf" of Giarre for those who know the area. A man who doesn't talk much, unless we're talking about racing cars and the cups he's won speak for him, but he's certainly capable of messing around and here are some photos, just to make you want to taste them. The choice is varied and for all tastes and even if I am not a sweet tooth, I tasted a small piece of the Nutella one, for purists there are also those with pumpkin jam. I invite you to try them but I wouldn't disdain the breakfasts, I remember that he makes excellent fried ravioli. Bon appetit and good coffee.

Excellent place with good sweet and savory products. Particularly pleasant was the girls at the counter who were cheerful, helpful and kind. Excellent quality/price ratio.

03/12/2024: One of the best bars in Acireale. Really excellent products and normal prices. You can't always find parking with your car given the very central location of the bar, so be patient and park nearby and get there on foot. The Basilica of San Sebastiano is also beautiful right in front of the bar. Absolutely worth trying!
