La Vecchia Grotta del Diavolo In Alghero

We were attracted by the size of the pizza, but unfortunately the size did not translate into quality. The dough was hard and dry, the sausage on the pizza was just a regular sausage, which unfortunately spoiled its taste. Flying flies, although independent of the restaurant, also spoiled the atmosphere. Hence such an assessment.

I would have liked to give more, but that's all I could afford. The staff was very nice and friendly. The pizza was just about OK. The atmosphere was just okay, too.

Delicious, uncomplicated, and convivial. Perfect for an authentic pizza or pizzette evening, where you can feel at home. Italians from all over Sardinia prefer the pizze al taglio here. 🍕Great prices!

Ormai veniamo in questo posto da un paio d’anni. Le migliori pizzette al taglio mai mangiate, patatine fritte buonissime così come le pizze rotonde e dolci top. Personale gentilissimo, consigliatissimo❤️

Very well received, not speaking Italian very well, but we were able to eat good food for a reasonable price! I can recommend this place to you without any worries.

It's a shame that we can "only" give 5 and not 10 stars! After several "tourist traps" and rather disappointments in the old town, we found La vecchia Grotta Del Diavolo. It is a place that few tourists visit, but more locals. Incredibly good pizza and very friendly team! A side detail: there is no pasta on the menu - and we weren't interested in this with this pizza either ;) Sunday afternoon, Formula 1 broadcast with local Ferrari Tifosi - it's a special experience, simply priceless!
