Went here today with a group of friends. Calm atmosphere, it feels like being at home, silence, good food and warmth. I only give 4 stars and not 5 because, being a vegetarian, I didn't find much for me, but what I was able to eat was really excellent. Top courgette flowers! I recommend perhaps including some cheeses in the starter and some first courses suitable for those who follow a meat-free diet, otherwise everything was very nice and the staff were kind, attentive and helpful. I would happily stay here again.

Iniziamo col sottolineare la mancanza di cortesia (e mi limito a questo parere) della cameriera (forse la titolare) che semplicemente indispettisce il cliente in qualunque situazione. Poi, ad un certo punto, hanno chiuso la toilette (senza specificarne il motivo, pur avendolo chiesto) costringendo la clientela a servirsi del wc esterno. Antipasto: 4 fettine di affettato buttate lì. Bolliti accettabili. Fiori di zucca durissimi. Vino da dimenticare. Insomma da non riprovare.

Typical Novara trattoria, very good traditional dishes, especially the risottos from the classic paniscia nuaresa to the castelmagno risotto. The service is informal with the waitstaff very kind and helpful. Must try.
