La Vecchia Conca Srl In Roma

My boyfriend and I were in Rome for a weekend and we had lunch in this restaurant given its proximity to our hotel, intrigued by the nice reviews. As an appetizer we had some fried courgette flowers stuffed with anchovies and mozzarella (a little greasy for my taste but it can happen) and some croutons with lard and honey. For the first course I had the amatriciana (very good! Spectacular Amatrice bacon!) and my boyfriend a cacio e pepe. As a second course we shared the Roman saltimbocca served with potatoes, which were also good.

Adorable trattoria between Santa Maria Maggiore and Piazza Vittorio. Both the kindness of the managers and the cuisine, true Roman, are exquisite. Unmissable, a certainty and a joy in the Eternal City. I hug you

Excellent restaurant, they also make a delicious pinsa. Everything at the top, from starters to desserts. Owners always present and attentive to customer needs.

La Vecchia Conca: A Roman Jewel During our week-long stay in Rome with my son, La Vecchia Conca became our culinary anchor. Located in our immediate neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant on the first evening and were immediately hooked - so much so that we returned there every evening throughout our vacation! The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. Despite the obviously high number of guests, they managed to create a personal and warm atmosphere. You immediately felt welcome and in good hands. The menu offered an attractive selection and everything we tried - from the starters to the main courses to the dessert - was simply outstanding. The quality of the ingredients was undeniable, the preparation masterful and the portions generous. A special highlight was the Roman fish soup: the fresh fish, the aromatic broth and the perfect seasoning made this dish an unforgettable taste experience. There was nothing to complain about; every dish was a culinary highlight. You could tell the attention to detail and passion for good food in every bite. The price-performance ratio was also excellent - mid-range price for dishes of excellent quality. In short: La Vecchia Conca is more than just a restaurant – it is an experience. The combination of excellent food, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made our Rome vacation something very special. We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back on our next visit to Rome!

Ristorante della tradizione romana. Materie prime di assoluta qualità, sapientemente lavorate . Grande gentilezza e cortesia soprattutto da parte del titolare che ti fa sentire a casa. Alcuni dei piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano tra i preferiti del mitico Gigi Proietti (vedi carpaccio di polpo con rucola e pomodorini). Un riferimento e una garanzia per un ottimo pasto al centro di Roma
