A welcoming restaurant with kind & attentive staff. We had fried artichokes for a starter and then taglioni with asparagi and ravioli with broccoli and caccio pepe . It was all perfectly cooked and delicious. We left happy and content.

I was looking for a simple and welcoming restaurant to eat authentic Roman food and I found it. The artichoke alla giudia was really excellent.
The pasta with guanciale and artichokes is highly recommended.
The waiter was very kind, he also suggested an excellent amaro.

Typically Roman place and it is what I was looking for and wanted. You enter, go down 5 steps and you are catapulted into a warm and welcoming environment made of arches and whitewashed facades. Welcomed by a very kind and competent lady, always with a smile and kind in her ways, never in difficulty with my annoying needs. She was able to satisfy me and pamper me as I wanted. Then come the real stars of the evening, the dishes of traditional Roman cuisine, served and made with raw materials of excellent quality and mastery in preparation. It will certainly become a fixed stop for my Roman pleasure transgressions.

The only place in Rome we'll return to. The food is excellent and the service is unbeatable in a very warm atmosphere.
The pastas are exquisite.
For those who like to eat a lot, it's a good idea to order an appetizer because the dishes aren't extensive. The perfect excuse to try two different dishes.

By far the best meal we had in Rome. Off the beaten track, local cuisine, choice ingredients, it's a pleasure!
Beautiful environment (indoors in a vaulted cellar) but a little noisy.
Small downside on the service, too bad. We didn't feel very respected by the waiter. I think he sees the tourists arriving from afar and is content to serve. A smile or a little consideration doesn't hurt. For the rest, you can go there with your eyes closed!

We visited this small restaurant on the suggestion of our B&B host. It didn't look much from the outside.
But once you enter and go down the stairs the venue is cosey and geeks slightly exclusive with lovely art on the walls.
The mid priced menu. Was outstanding. My tortellini with mushroom was the best I've ever had. I asked the hostess to surprise me with a wine to match and I was not disappointed.
Our main waiter for the evening was Carlos. He was hilarious but attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and the specials.
This venue is just down from St Mary Major basilica and opens at 7pm. Before then you'd miss it waiting past, which would be your loss!!

Nos alojamos a 50 m en un Airbnb y reseñado más cercano y mejor aquí (... yo y mis dos hijos adultos).
Muy buen ambiente, muy buena comida, encantadora anfitriona, muy impresionado.
Tuvimos entrantes, principales y postres, precio razonable para la calidad, sin quejas en absoluto, muy agradable de hecho!
