La Vecchia Cascina In Camerota

Siam venuti qua io e la mia ragazza per mangiare solo ed esclusivamente carne. Un mix di carne veramente squisito, servito in un bellissimo piatto. Lo consiglio ciecamente.

It's a shame, it's a great restaurant, but no one speaks English here, not even an English menu. The pictures on the menu are also old and faded. I also imagined something different from my pizza. Otherwise I would definitely have achieved full marks.

Family place, fresh cuisine and great attention, good prices for the quality of the food

SUPER RECOMMENDED! We visited a few restaurants in Marina and this is the best for us, without a doubt. Tasty Scialatielli with seafood, well seasoned and al dente. Fabulous grilled fish and to finish, space lemon tart. For a plate of scialatielli, a grilled fish, a semifreddo with figs and walnuts, a lemon tart, wine and digestive €70. The service is friendly and genuine, Mrs Maria is exceptionally kind.

We booked the day before and found a place. So we went there and sat down. Inside the restaurant there is a century-old tree but the rest of the restaurant is not very aesthetically pleasing. We ordered a Cilento appetizer and a seafood one. It didn't take them long, more or less 10 minutes. Stunning plating to say the least and delicious food 🤤…. After that we ordered 2 spaghetti with seafood and two baby pizzas. It took them a total of 1 hour because they made a bit of confusion but everything was very good. We paid a total of €95 which was actually a very honest price because the dishes were really plentiful…. They have things in here to improve the cuisine is really great. Every time we go to Marina di Camerota we always go to this beautiful restaurant and we eat very well. I must say excellent quality and price.

Iniziamo ad ordinare: crudo di pesce non disponibile (solo su prenotazione, nessuna comunicazione a riguardo) e nero di seppia finito. Buoni gli gnocchi e nella media gli scialatielli allo scoglio, a mio avviso il tipo di pasta non esaltava il condimento. Frittino misto buono ma con troppi pesciolini random. Vari disguidi al momento del conto, coperti e ordinazioni inserite in più.

Difficult review to describe well... based on the score reported on Google I booked, sure that I would find a place of an above average level. Upon my arrival, from the outside I immediately understand that the structure has an obsolete appearance, but it does nothing. Parking.. difficult to locate, we had to ask for directions to find it, and honestly questionable (the entrance is not the safest or most comfortable)... however effective. Upon entering I confirm the sensation: the structure has a clear 70s-80s flavor lacking any form of modern renovation. The service is very good, friendly, fast, nice staff. The dishes are not bad, the quality of the raw materials for both the fish and the meat is good (perhaps the best choice of the evening). Again questionable and tasteless, the absolutely 80's style presentation!! Overall, the palate was satisfied, but I believe that the score on Google is completely misleading since I certainly expect much more from a restaurant with a rating higher than 4.
