La Vecchia Cantina In Teverola

Classic restaurant located along a state road. Nice inside. Three (3) stars are more than enough.

I hear the pizza is very good but the menu we just had recently was not. We had the meat menu and we were disappointed with the food.

All good and fresh products, I recommend it because you eat really well...

In this restaurant, you can find the cuisine of 30-odd years ago, genuine, without frills, simply TRUE, if you ever wanted to try it.......

Everything perfect🔝 Delicious food and beautiful preparations. Friendly, courteous and helpful waiter. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews I've read 4 of us went today (Sunday) to eat with the children and everything was perfect. Appetizer consisting of fried foods, cured meats, fish and everything and more, exquisite steak and impeccable service, normal prices for the quality and quantity received. I highly recommend it

I come here solely for the star pizza which is really good

I was always one step away from stopping then, finally, on Sunday I went there for lunch. Let me start by saying that I have always been wary of places that offer dishes verbally but this time I fell for it. Giovanni's courtesy cannot be doubted, as can the kindness of the waiters and Gaetano (the valet), but all that remains of the old cellar are the tablecloths and cutlery (which bend). There were 2 of us. A plate of cold cuts, including cheeses and cured meats (8 pieces in total for 4 varieties), a small pan with beans, 2 aubergines with tomato (2 in number), 2 breaded anchovies, 2 bruschettas with tomato and 2 with 1 anchovy on each side, 5 octopus in the pan and a small plate of octopus with salad turned out to be the mare e monti appetizer. 1 tagliatella with mushrooms and fried prawns and calamari with half a liter of wine in a jug for 65 euros I think it's a bit out of the market. From my presentation it seems like a lot of stuff but, believe me, the portions were really "miserable" so much so that, when I went to pay, I asked if there hadn't been a mistake regarding the table. From the order, attached to the receipt, there were no errors other than an overestimation of the costs of the dishes. This explains the "migration" of the many Neapolitans (and not only) to the farmhouses of the Benevento area.

We dined for a long time in this restaurant, we found welcome and hospitality from the manager and helpfulness and courtesy from the waiter. Here you can enjoy both sea and land dishes. We were on business and we agreed with the manager on an agreement for a fixed menu that changed every evening. I recommend it to everyone but especially to the many business travelers who are in the area. Highly recommended
