La Valle Dell'aspide In Gimigliano

I spent ten wonderful days in the La Valle dell'Aspide refreshment bar. The experience was truly unforgettable. The walks in the surrounding woods were regenerating and allowed me to immerse myself in nature. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to meet new and interesting people, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Special thanks go to the owners, Teresa and Luciano, for their hospitality and kindness. They made my stay very special with their attention to detail and helpfulness. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. Oh I forgot, the wood stove is spectacular!!

I returned to the village after 20 years and was looking for a quiet place to have lunch with my mother and my husband and this place was recommended to us. I was pleasantly surprised by the goodness and quality of the food served with professionalism and kindness and prepared in a workmanlike manner as if we had been in a starred restaurant. The atmosphere was simple as if we were simply at home! I am used to the prices of northern Italy and I can guarantee that the quality-price ratio is exceptional. We took the starter (3 courses each), the first course (consisting of 2 courses each) and the second course (2 different second courses on the plate) with the side dish, a bottle of house wine, 3 liter bottles of water, 3 desserts, 3 coffees and digestives. How much do you think we spent? No no not €50/60 per person but rather €30 PER PERSON FOR ALL THIS GOODNESS listed! I really thank them from the bottom of my heart!

An unforgettable culinary experience today at the "Valle dell'Aspide" restaurant. Here we found a welcoming environment, professionalism, friendliness, impeccable service (Thank you Valentina) and exquisite cuisine! The owners Luciano and Teresa were fantastic and at the end of the meal they delighted us with their delicious and original basil liqueur! And then surprisingly also dancing and Karaoke! Their hospitality was a treat for our eyes, palate and heart! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Trovato per caso dopo una visita al Santuario della Madonna di Porto, si è rivelata una scelta azzeccatissima. Luciano e Teresa sono due persone eccezionali. molto ospitali che ci hanno messo subito a nostro agio. E' una cucina tipica, tradizionale, ma non scontata. I piatti sono infatti rivisitati e gli impiattamenti molto curati. Abbiamo mangiato veramente molto bene. Appena possibile torneremo senz'altro.

The place is cosy, simple but above all clean. The food was exceptionally fresh, tasty, mostly home made and the service was just great. The delicious red house wine produced by Luciano was. We fully enjoyed the place. The hosts ( Husband and wife, Luciano and Teresa) were very friendly as well as welcoming. I cannot recommend enough this place for the quality of the food served, the great service and the welcoming. We will be back for sure.

I stopped at this restaurant during my cycle route through the parks of Calabria. The owners welcomed me as if I were their daughter, giving me to eat and drink what I wanted. I was very hot and tired and just wanted water and fruit and that was it. I felt at home because they pampered me and it was unique to listen to stories of their lives. A wonderful place surrounded by greenery. I will forever keep this unique moment for myself. I highly recommend to everyone!!!

Very nice and welcoming location, we found ourselves as if we were family, Mr. Luciano and Teresa were very kind, not to mention the excellent quality food, even our Labrador found himself at ease with the owners who welcomed him very well , we will definitely be back, very satisfied, congratulations I will also let our friends know.👍👏👏👏👏🙏🥰
