La Traversa Pizzeria In Napoli

A nice renovated place, you feel great and the food is top, the pizza is mmmmmm delicious

We arrived in Naples after a 3-hour bus ride from Bari and, among the various stops, we decided - on the advice of a friend - to stop at La Traversa... a great choice! We tried the Vesuviana DOP and the Margherita Sbagliata: two truly spectacular pizzas. The dough was light, melting and well leavened. You could taste all the ingredients: fresh, tasty and well balanced. Even the fried foods were no exception: crunchy, tasty and not at all greasy - special mention to the frittatina, with truly excellent cooking. The service was impeccable, with a friendly and nice staff that made us feel at ease right away. Honorable mention to Bruno, very nice and always attentive to our requests 💫 After tasting this pizza we can say it without a doubt: the trip was more than worth it. In fact, for a pizza like this... we would have even traveled twice as long! 😋 Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by the very intimate atmosphere of the place. From the outside you wouldn't think so, but inside you have a pleasant surprise. Good pizza and appetizers. The guys in the room are professional and affable at the same time!

Delicious artisanal frying. Nicely dry and not greasy with oil

A slightly off-centre pizzeria that truly proves to be a pearl of rare goodness. The modern pizza of Naples has reinvented not only the dough and baking, but also new flavors and toppings, increasingly captivating as well as surprising. The gem for us is at the bottom of the drinks list, where we unexpectedly find bottles from the Augsburg brewery, which as young motorcyclists we knew how to appreciate locally, and never found again in Italy. Very good pizza but I didn't understand why when it fries it comes out of the fan which exposes a frying stench onto the pavement which invades the entire adjacent area. ⭐
