Osteria La Trappola is a typical trattoria in Piacenza's historic center, just steps from Piazza Cavalli. It offers home-style Piacenza cuisine, featuring fresh pasta and traditional recipes, in a simple and elegant setting, with a few tables outside. Platters, tortelli con la coda, pisarei e fasö, anolini in brodo, tripe, and so much more! The restaurant is family-run, with an informal and attentive atmosphere; the dining rooms aren't particularly large, but there's plenty of space and they're very well managed. The dishes are prepared quickly, the cuisine is so discreet that you almost forget it's there. The owner's attention to detail is evident even just by looking at the decor; everything is very original and thoughtful. The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are average for the menu. Recommended!

Hemos seguido al propietario a través de un par de restaurantes porque hace un buen trabajo. El menú es muy tradicional Piacenza, incluyendo tortelli, trippa y asino, algunos de los cuales ya no son tan comunes. En su mayoría somos vegetarianos, por lo que lo mantuvimos IT ligero con tortelli y un flan di verdura, además de una copa del Gutturnio local. También partimos un zabaglione de postre que era lo real. La decoración es revoltijo rústico, con un poco de arte moderno entretenido malo. El personal no podría haber sido más amable.

Un piccolo ristorante non lontano dal centro con un apprezzato fresco cortile. Da menzionare le chicche alla salsiccia che nonostante il titolo sono risultate essere delicate. Tra i secondi il fegato con cipolle, non alla veneta, una rarità oramai nei menù, e un ottimo nasello al sugo rosso. Tra i dolci spicca una sbrisolona accompagnata dallo zabaione per chi non ha problemi di linea. Servizio amichevole e prezzo adeguato. Da visitare.
