Great place. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. I had the appetizer of local meats, pisarei and some horse meat with polenta. At the end the owner gave me a discount. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Food is really delicious, it brings together the heart warming flavor of home-made dishes with a refined attention to detail. While visiting Piacenza we went twice and intend to go back again before we leave the city. Everything we ate - on menu and off menu melted in the mouth, highly recommended.

Truly excellent traditional Piacenza cuisine. Anolini in brodo were wonderful, the pisarei and beans were delicious, and the tomato meatballs were superb. I've never had meatballs this good! The zabaglione served with the sbrisolona was fantastic. The slightly sweet sparkling red wine, Gutturnio, was a pleasant surprise and paired wonderfully with the dishes. The service was fast and attentive, with the owner personally coming to explain the dishes and ask how they were doing. Highly recommended!

Impromptu lunch without a reservation. Nice place, a typical osteria. Very friendly owner and well-organized service. Typical local menu... stuffed pastas, very interesting meat main courses (I would have tried more than a couple if I'd had the chance). Good selection of local wines and reasonable prices. The tongue was spectacular! Recommended.

The owner was very kind, the place was nice with a fireplace, the waitress was always sniffing, not to mention the rush to clear the table when we still had to finish eating typical dishes, the prices were normal, what I ate didn't blow me away.
