Da poco trasferiti dalle colline piacentine in centro città, iniziamo a testare i ristoranti vicino a casa.
La Trappola è una "trattoria piacentina", così si definisce. Il locale, sito in zona centrale, si presenta con sale non spaziosissime e con possibilità di sedute all'aperto, piacevolmente caratterizzato. Forse l'acustica non è delle migliori, risultando abbastanza rumoroso (certo anche l'eccessiva esuberanza di certe tavolate incide parecchio).
Il personale è cortese e premuroso, anche se si nota che non ha certamente fatto "l'alberghiero", ma compensano con la loro disponibilità e carineria.
Menù con alti e bassi. Vellutata di fagioli e gamberi eccellente, buono e abbondante il piatto di prosciutto crudo. Meno valide le tagliatelle al radicchio con molta panna anni '80 (sic!) e poco radicchio. Il fegato alle cipolle avrebbe dovuto essere "tirato" un po' di più, perché il sughetto era particolarmente buono, ma il fegato risultava con poco sapore, un poco anonimo.

Welcoming and attentive already on the phone. We ate on the outside veranda: very pleasant. Courteous, smiling and fast service. Excellent quality meat that allowed us to get to know two typical dishes. Sublime cold cuts appetizer, genuine and excellent dessert. Adequate price, low of the two. We will return as soon as we are back in Piacenza. Highly recommended

On Saturday afternoon we attended an event in the historic center of Piacenza with a couple of friends. Once finished we found this tavern for dinner and it was a nice discovery to have dinner in this tavern. The place is very characteristic, the staff very friendly, nice and knowledgeable and they were able to give us excellent advice throughout the evening. Our first courses: Pisarei and Fasò and Tortelli Piacentini with butter and sage. A unique goodness and delicacy.
As a second course we ordered Liver with onions and apples and Braised meat with bacon and polenta and here too exquisite dishes 😋, prepared with care and with quality ingredients. And we couldn't finish dinner without trying the dessert... We took the Sbrisolona (but it's not the one found in other restaurants). It was very good with a unique flavour.
I am very satisfied to have found this tavern with a very comfortable environment and above all an excellent quality/price ratio.
It's a shame that we were about an hour and a half away, but we will definitely be back to try other dishes that intrigued me a lot. the prices are very affordable. I recommend everyone who is in the area to stop and eat in this wonderful tavern.

I was with friends and we found this Osteria by chance, looking at the reviews they trusted us and we went, well surprise of surprises super welcoming and very simple place, very kind and competent staff, we order Pisarei and Fasò and Tortelli Piacentini with butter and sage. Fantastic goodness and delicacy rarely tasted.
Let's move on to the second course and order Liver with onions and apples and Braised meat with bacon and polenta, here too a sublime goodness, the braised meat melted in the mouth and the liver truly exquisite.
I am really satisfied with the place and the very comfortable environment, the prices are very affordable. I recommend everyone who is in the area to stop and eat in this wonderful tavern.

Small tavern in the centre, genuine Piacenza cuisine. We ate very well, simple and with great flavour: raw appetizer with fig compote, giardiniera and focaccia.
First Piacenza tortelli both with butter and mushrooms, pisarei and fasò.
Truly recommended for the kindness and friendliness of the staff.

Piccola Osteria in centro, cucina Piacentina genuina . Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, semplice e di gran gusto: antipasto crudo con composta di fichi, giardiniera e focaccine.
Primi tortelli piacentini sia al burro che con funghi, pisarei e fasò.
Davvero consigliato per la bontà e la simpatia del personale.
