La Tramontana In Ormea

On our way back from a trip to Upega, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. The dining room offers a beautiful view of the valley. On Sundays, they only offer a tasting menu, which includes six appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert, including wine and water. All for €35. The price is fair for the quality and quantity. The staff is attentive and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is almost always fully booked. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time, excellent service, abundant and quality dinner and breakfasts and the structure is in a wonderful location surrounded by greenery.

We stayed for 4 days at the La Tramontana hotel, I must immediately say an absolutely positive experience. It is a family-run establishment, where everyone does their best to satisfy your every little need. The large room with window, with a simply wonderful view of the mountains, is equipped with a large bathroom with tub and window All the fixtures are new, double glazing for thermal and acoustic insulation. We had opted for full board: and well done we did!! Always a choice between three first courses, three second courses plus fruit or dessert: everything incredibly good, tasty and, it doesn't hurt, abundant, with a second course for those who still wanted to have seconds. In conclusion: we were truly satisfied and next year we will be back.. but for a week!

Excellent restaurant with selected dishes also of the white cuisine. Attentive and kind staff. Beautiful panoramic view.

Very clean location with mountain view. My partner and I had dinner and slept there. Everything was delicious.... We will definitely return
