La Tramontana In Livorno

Excellent Neapolitan and national cuisine, often when I have the opportunity with my family I go to eat at Tramontana... The location is good, very close to the tourist cruise port and the center of Livorno

Good restaurant. Nice and big. An ideal place to have a large corporate lunch or with family and/or friends. The gentleman we spoke to to plan our dinner (he looks like the manager/owner to me), was very kind. At first, he seemed a little nervous because he was afraid that we wanted to bring in sweets from outside (something that honestly should be illegal). However, we explained that we did not have that intention also because "La Tramontana" is a place famous for its desserts. At this point, he became very peaceful and welcoming: he gave us exactly the treatment I had wanted and our corporate dinner/birthday celebration was a beautiful event. Starters for vegetarians: delicious. I would like to add that the environment is warm (in a positive sense), very elegant and spacious. You can also ask for a private room for a more intimate/less hectic space. Well kept/maintained restaurant. Rustic and elegant at the same time. Strongly recommended as a restaurant to celebrate beautiful occasions. Staff: welcoming & elegant. Please note: to plan a lunch or dinner, you need to go there in person to explain exactly what you want and with plenty of time in advance to give them the opportunity to accommodate you. You can't expect them to answer the phone because they work hard to take care of a significant number of customers.

A completely local business with affordable prices. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Solid pizzeria with friendly service.

**“We went to the La Tramontana pizzeria in Livorno and the experience was a bit mixed. The pizza is average, with a dough that in our opinion was a little soft. The atmosphere was rather confusing and we had to wait too long for the pizza after the starter, thanks to some mix-ups. Once reported to the waiter, the situation was quickly resolved with courtesy. A waiter passing by our table rests his hand on the jacket that was placed on the chair, leaving the white imprint of flour on it The positive side is certainly the price: with around 20 euros per person you can eat, which is quite cheap. Overall, an evening without great enthusiasm but still acceptable for those looking for an accessible place.

For the cost, I expected something more
