Siamo stati con amici a cena, proprietario un po’ burbero ma nel complesso accogliente, locale “ antico “ ma carino; abbiamo preso busiate con uova di spigola, triglie sott olio, spigola arrosto con patate e dei fritti di antipasto; la cosa migliore il millefoglie finale come dolce, per il resto pesce sicuramente fresco ma nessun piatto da poter dire “ ritornerei per poter riprendere questo “

Very traditional place. Good food, slow service.
Restaurant is very accommodating, we were able to get in without reservations, and were seated promptly. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, however place is understaffed. This makes service extremely slow and can become frustrating when it takes more than 15 minutes to get the check. In the other hand, food is of extremely good quality and fresh. We do hope this place improves service and becomes the excellent place it can be.

We went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch, which I didn't know about.
It was a very pleasant surprise: all the fish I ate was excellent and the service was fast and the staff very kind.

Couldn’t have loved this place more. Old school in the best possible way with very kind, helpful staff. Fantastic fish dishes and the rolling cart of appetizers and side dishes had amazing options. Definitely going back!

L‘attenzione alla materia prima e alla sua preparazione è straordinaria. L‘atmosfera può apparire demodè ma qui regna la calma e l‘attenzione del „patron“ ai clienti è costante ma non invasiva.
Una sicurezza per chi ama il pesce.

The cuisine is the strong point of this historic restaurant in Testaccio, without a doubt. Especially for fish dishes it is a certainty. The last time we were, unfortunately, we found the toilets - we were the first diners present, so it wasn't a question of logistics but of inattention - dirty which resulted in an avoidable sour note (the toilets could do with a beautiful renovation) as part of such a pleasant evening.
