I discovered this restaurant by chance and it was a lucky day. It is a substantially family-run place and everyone who works there, absolutely everyone, has such kindness and friendliness that you feel at home. The cuisine is excellent and I would say abundant. The pasta is homemade and each dish is prepared with care. Here preparing food for others is not seen as a simple routine but also as a sort of passion, certainly tiring, but full of satisfaction for those who come to eat and for those who cook, seeing the satisfaction of their customers. The dishes varied and here I experimented with recipes I had never tasted before, such as the potato and fennel pie, a real delicacy. I recommend the first courses and, among the second courses, all excellent, my preference was for the wild boar. Some recipes are truly original, such as the polenta alla gricia, the result of the creativity and inventiveness of Rosella (with an s), one of the women-magicians of this restaurant. I have been back several times and have never, I mean never, been disappointed. You won't be either.

The carbonara, truffle and trifle are excellent.

Small business in the village of Blera. Kind owners. Good cuisine. Only the rooms would need updating (given the level of the restaurant).

A ridosso del centro storico ben conservato di Blera (VT), il ristorante La Torretta riserva una clorosa accoglienza ai suoi clienti. A conduzione familiare e con prodotti propri che seguono la stagionalità, il menù é vario e ben calibrato, la cucina molto accurata, il servizio veloce e soddisfacente e, last but not least, il rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo. Da consigliare e da ritornarvi.

Characteristic place, friendly staff who advise you on typical dishes to try. Fabulous first and second courses. I will definitely return to try other dishes.

Per puro caso abbiamo pranzato in questo caratteristico ristorante al centro del paese con un comodo parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze. Splendida la proprietaria, che ci ha accolti con il sorriso e ci ha consigliati dei piatti caratteristici e super genuini. Tutto a conduzione famigliare....questo è il segreto, oltre alla passione per il proprio lavoro che perdura dopo tanti anni ! Torneremo sicuramente. Prezzo ottimo considerando le pietanze. Grazie ancora per il vostro servizio.... è un piacere incontrare persone così squisite!
