I went to this place with some of my friends. The food is top-notch; I highly recommend the lasagna, platters, and crostini. The staff was top-notch and the welcome was spectacular. Highly recommended.

I'm a high school student who came to Bologna for a philosophy conference. I highly recommend this place to everyone, not just for the restaurant itself, but also for the staff who ran the place (wonderful), and especially for the amazing food. I highly recommend the lasagna.

Thank you, Cesare, for choosing a culinary partner like the good Luca, a delightful person who welcomed us like home, demonstrating his gastronomic skills in representing "the Via Emilia," echoing in my mind my adolescence and the flavors of this magnificent land that welcomed me as a child and cared for me like a man.
A typical place with a pleasant combination of art, music, and cuisine!
Well, if I had to describe Cesare's first cult dish, "50 Special," I would associate it with the Via Emilia platter with a prosciutto cared for like a child, the mortadella that filled the room with its aromas, and that touch of 60-month-aged Parmigiano that encapsulates all the explosiveness of Emilia. I associate it because if I were on a Vespa through the alleys of Bologna, I would smell the same aromas of these excellent ingredients.
I'd rank "Easy Girls" among the "green puff pastry" lasagna bolognese, because Luca and Cesare's lasagna easily captures the heart of anyone in love with good food.
"Have a good trip" is when you caress the stuffed cappellaccio with your fork and feel all the love of that housewife there, Luca's mother, who takes your taste buds on a journey back to when you were little and watched your grandmother make you knead a small panettone with fresh pasta and she painted art for the family.
Finally, because I could go on forever, I'll close with "come and see why." I'd associate it with the goulash cooked at a low temperature, which falls apart at the first bite of the fork and continues to flavor the inside of the sauce. Come and see why, because that's what I'd say to anyone who's never tried this experience...
Thank you, Cesare, for choosing Luca as a spokesperson for good, classic Emilian cuisine. Because "someone like you," one of Italy's greatest singer-songwriters, has entrusted yourself to someone who, for me, is the best at keeping great music and excellent Emilian cuisine moving at a good pace... Thank you for creating this oasis of excellent cuisine and music, never banal, never commercial, and made with love, which makes me think it all began with a great glass of Sangiovese, a platter of top-notch cured meats, and a warm tigella... keep it up!!!!
I'll definitely try it again and return again!

I went to this typical Bolognese tavern where I had a great time, typical traditional dishes, abundant and above all very well made. I recommend the lasagna and the tiger platter, which are particularly good. I will definitely go back, we hope to meet Cesare Cremonini.

We had our table at 7:30 PM and it was made clear to us right away that we would have to vacate it by 9:30 PM. By 7:35 PM, we were already seated (4 out of 6 people; the others would arrive later). Water and menus arrived immediately, but our orders weren't taken until 8:00 PM.
We decided to order assorted crostini, since a third of the menu consists of crostini. The waitress informed us that she didn't know if they'd be able to prepare them because we already had six orders and the oven was busy. She went to check and, returning to the table, told us she was having a hard time fitting them in because they wouldn't be ready for another half hour (it would have been 8:05 PM), reminding us again that we had to vacate the table at 9:30 PM.
At that point, I point out that it's not the customer's problem, but a problem with the restaurant's organization: if they have two sittings, if a significant portion of the menu consists of dishes that require an oven, and if they can't manage the kitchen's time, the customer shouldn't be the one having to adapt or feel like a hindrance. We were paying customers, punctual, and seated at a regularly booked table, not guests in their home.
We ordered the crostini anyway, which arrived after about 30 minutes. Throughout the dinner, unfortunately, the waitress repeatedly gave the impression of being annoyed by our presence, as if we were a problem to be managed rather than customers to be served.
The real blow came at 9:28 PM, when the waitress reminded us we had to leave the table. A friend of mine asked for coffee and the bill, but we were told that it wasn't possible to have the coffees because the table had to be vacated immediately for the next sitting. It's a shame, because she could have easily served them at the counter.
It's a shame because the place is nice and the food is good, but such rigid and customer-unfocused management, combined with an unwelcoming attitude, ruins the overall experience. With a little more flexibility and customer service, it would have been a completely different memory.

A very intimate restaurant with a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Bologna. Very friendly staff, delicious and varied food... the tortelli "inverso" are excellent, as are the lasagna, both traditional and vegetarian... and the paprika-flavored chicken skewers are delicious.
Highly recommended.

When I asked if there were courgettes in the ribollita (because of an allergy... Not out of curiosity) the waitress replied, "I've never tasted it."

We went to this osteria yesterday, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere immediately stood out. It’s very cool and inviting — simply decorated, yet done with so much taste and intention. Nothing feels overdone, but everything feels right.
The staff are incredibly welcoming and make you feel comfortable right away. A special shout-out goes to our waiter, Luca, who took such great care of us — attentive, kind, and genuinely added to the experience.
As for recommendations, the crostini are a must specifically the Caesar if your a fun of sardines. The gramigna alla salsiccia was very good, rich and comforting, and the lasagna was excellent. We also loved the Insalata del Campeggio, which was fresh and perfectly balanced.
I also had a dish that wasn’t on the regular menu — a pasta del giorno stuffed with nuts and Parmesan, served in a butter and sage sauce. It was outstanding. I’d definitely recommend listening to what they have off-menu as well — it’s absolutely worth it.
Overall, an excellent place from start to finish, and one I would 100% recommend.
