Abbiamo scelto questo posto per trascorrere la Pasqua. Tranquillo e nella splendida Sant’Oreste il ristorante gode di un panorama unico. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Personalmente, conoscendo già il posto ho chiesto che la porzione di pasta fosse meno abbondante, ma se si ha buon appetito è perfetta! La cortesia del personale rende tutto più piacevole, anche il vino e i dolci ottimi. Il prezzo più che onesto.

When we came to dinner here, we were greeted with a smile and courtesy. The environment is certainly rustic, fully reflecting the cuisine offered. On the menu mainly Roman dishes, we opted for a mixed platter, a gricia and a sliced ​​beef. The house wine was excellent, the platter satisfied us and also left us fully satisfied. The best gricia I've ever eaten: full of pepper, cheese, very crispy striped bacon, extra generous portion - exactly how I would cook it, without skimping on flavour. We really liked the meat too, but we were really really full... I tasted their self-produced liqueur and I loved it! In my opinion the value for money is crazy. I will return, I will recommend it, thank you so much for making us leave full and happy to have chosen you!

Tradition meets creativity, some dishes recall ancient flavors but surprise the palate with some special ingredients. The homemade "Tropea" fettuccine and the "farmer's wine" are absolutely worth trying. The atmosphere is that of a true tavern of the past that exudes stories and traditions, therefore without too many pretensions, where chatter reigns supreme, with the sympathy of the stories of Alessandro "innkeeper". A true place that tells of a time gone by with an eye to the future and the right balance. Highly recommended

Excellent cuisine, right portions, service provided by well-trained and friendly guys... definitely recommended... the only flaw is that the place could use a good renovation, especially the toilet...

Abbiamo speso poco rispetto alla media che spendiamo di solito, ma non ci ha colpito in modo particolare nessuna pietanza assaggiata. Abbiamo preso antipasto (misto di salumi, verdure sott'olio e formaggi, con due bruschette e un tortino di ceci non troppo abbondanti e adeguato al prezzo) abbacchio alla scotta dito (non era cattivo, ma si poteva fare leggermente più attenzione alla cottura), tre pinse (non hanno entusiasmato), pasta per i bambini (uscita subito), fettuccine cacio e pepe (leggermente più salata di come avrei voluto), patate al forno (un mio amico direbbe:"buone però.."). Insomma nulla di eccezionale, va bene per passare una sera in compagna ma non credo ci torneremo a mangiare. Ultima cosa, il pavimento del bagno era molto sporco nonostante eravamo i primi clienti della serata.
