La Terrazza dell'Etna offers not only a quality dining experience but also a breathtaking setting. Located at the Etna Cable Car square, this self-service restaurant is an ideal stop for those visiting the volcano. The food is varied and well-prepared, with dishes that reflect Sicily's rich culinary tradition, perfect for recharging your batteries before or after a hike.
The view is simply spectacular. From the terrace, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama encompassing Etna's imposing volcanic landscape, the lava flows, and, in the distance, the Sicilian coast. This unique view makes dining here truly unforgettable.
In terms of accessibility, the restaurant is strategically located, very close to the cable car that leads to the summit craters. This makes it easy for visitors to access the starting points for guided excursions to the craters, allowing them to experience the thrill of being on Europe's highest active volcano. The terrace structure is well equipped to accommodate tourists of all ages, offering an excellent combination of comfort and adventure.

A very pleasant place for a culinary experience; as they say, it's not just about the word, but it's delicious. You can buy food by the pound or sweets and snacks like pizza and arachini by the slice. The coffee is also very good. There's plenty of space inside. The only downside is that one cash register serves two lines: the one for food by the pound and the one for desserts and snacks. It gets quite crowded when there are a lot of people.

Good looking products.
Bad service, quite disorganised - while waiting in line to be served, the server simply ignored me, skipped me, and continued doing so until speaking up…

Friendly staff and decent food, but feels a bit basic and touristy. They do have gluten free frozen foods (eg mini calzone) that they'll microwave for you.

We stopped here for a coffee after our tour of Etna. It was very cold and windy, so this was the perfect place to warm up. The coffee was excellent, and we tried a cannolo that was filled on the spot with fresh ricotta, it was absolutely delicious. We also noticed that other guests were enjoying lunch; there’s a canteen-style area, and the food looked very tasty.

Hi, it could be expanded due to the influx of people... I think one or two kiosks would be helpful.
Slow to refill the self-service food...
