La Terrazza In Varese

I had dinner for the first time yesterday (August 2024) and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical about the location of the restaurant but in reality it is located in a quiet street surrounded by houses and with convenient parking. Possibility to eat inside or outside. Personally I opted for the interior. everything well taken care of in detail, friendly and knowledgeable staff and good food. In addition to the à la carte menu, we were offered lobster off the menu both as an appetizer and as a first and second course. The food was well plated and of good quality. Refined and successful combinations. Attention to the customer with an offer of entréè and a small final dessert. Respectable wine list. Prices appropriate to the level of the restaurant. I will definitely come back.

Excellent experience to repeat. The restaurant does not boast a beautiful entrance, but the larger room quickly erases the feeling of finding yourself in the wrong place. The latter has a modern and elegant style, characterized by a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The furnishings are essential and functional, with light wooden tables and contemporary design chairs. The lighting is designed down to the smallest details, with suspended bulbs that create a play of soft lights, giving a sense of warmth to the environment. The walls are decorated with natural wood panels and floral murals that give an artistic and lively touch. The presence of plants both suspended and arranged on shelves helps to create a fresh and natural environment. The attention to detail, such as the glasses designed for each wine and the neatly folded napkins, denote particular attention to aesthetics and presentation. Overall, the spaces are well organized and inviting, ideal for creating a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. The cuisine is delicious and tends towards generosity of flavours, sometimes to the detriment of some ingredients which are literally overpowered. Best dish, flamed scampi, foie gras and brioche. As for the prices, I found them exaggerated. The markup on wines is really discouraging. Even the 6 euro cover charge is out of place, not because I don't want to give value to the tapas, the mountain butter, the breads and the tasting of the oil, but the cover charge is the cover charge and not an aperitif... or I think so you offer as a sign of attention to me as a customer, or you make me choose whether to want it or not. The 6 euro cover charge compromised one star less. Otherwise I would have given it the highest rating.

Very good experience! Gastronomy in a very pleasant and quiet place (choice between the garden, the terrace or the indoor room). High quality cuisine and a warm welcome from people who love to cook and share. From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious. Wine by the glass too, especially the sweet wine from Silica with dessert, an enchantment!

Refined restaurant and refined cuisine, specialized almost exclusively in fish-based dishes; interesting off-menu proposals of the day (like the lobster crudité taken this evening). High-end place, not for all budgets (cover charge €6), environment with a nice atmosphere.

Location molto bella, elegante e raffinata. Crudi di mare eccellenti. Molto apprezzate anche le entre’e e le coccole finali. Carta vini importante. Servizio impeccabile
