Breakfast on a fall Sunday, but it tasted like summer.
I ate the best Neapolitan rama of my life, fabulous Nutella flavor.
Absolutely reasonable prices, excellent location, available parking.
Clean bathroom.
The only downside was that the waitress told us we couldn't sit down because there was table service and we had ordered at the counter. We were absolutely willing to pay the extra, but the owner (I think it was, because she was at the cash register)
was extremely kind. Seeing that I had sat down for my elderly mother, she didn't say anything to us, in fact, she let us sit.
I absolutely recommend it.

I went last night to celebrate my birthday with my family and I had a great time. The waiters were very kind and always smiling, even when our children were running around and might have disturbed us. The owner was a very polite and kind lady. We had a delicious meal, with pizzas and arancini made really well!
I rarely leave reviews, but they deserve them all!!!
I'm updating my review because we went back for dinner... and I reaffirm everything I praised before! The rotisserie absolutely blows my mind, and the manager, Salvatore, is a very kind and precise guy! Thank you.

Beautiful place facing the sea... Very cute, charming, I tried the lemon granita and also the almond one (excellent)... Very kind... I will gladly return... 3 €10 for the granita plus €1.50 for the brioche...

Great discovery tonight! We sat down at the Tavernetta café, and the staff (foreigners) were incredibly friendly!
Excellent food. During an aperitif, we were served pasta alla norma (homemade, al dente), excellent tomato sauce, and it smelled of basil. Rustici were incredibly delicious (including the potato dumplings), all freshly made. Mozzarella and cured meats, and to top it all off, I discovered that what looked like breaded vegetables were actually fried chicken: delicious!
We'll only come back here for the Americano!

Unfortunately, I didn't give the food 5 stars. The onion and pasta were a little undercooked. Everything else was impeccable.

Un posto tranquillo e accogliente. La granita al pistacchio era nella media, mentre la brioche si è rivelata davvero buona. Personale gentile, soprattutto il cameriere.

Lavorando come Chef di cucina in un ristorante a Taormina,nel mio giorno di riposo,rientro a Catania e con mia moglie andiamo di solito a pranzare alla Tavernetta .Il responsabile di sala già sa le nostre abitudini e ci consiglia sui piatti del giorno.Servizio rapido ed impeccabile.Dopo aver pranzato,avevo voglia di una cipollina che avevo visto nel banco caldo.La cipollina più buona in assoluto provata in vita mia.Complimenti.Lo consiglio.Grazie.Alla prossima.
