Inspired by the videos on social media, I chose this place. I arrived on a Sunday for lunch at 12:45, surprised to find no line. We were seated immediately, and the service was courteous and the wait time was normal. I ordered a carbonara, which was a very generous dish and really good; even the artichokes were appreciated. I expected him to come and serve us, as I'd seen in all the videos, but alas, the dish was brought to me as usual, which left me a bit disappointed. Otherwise, the food and price were very reasonable.

A visit to Rome without dining at La Tavernetta should be forbidden. 😉 A place with a wonderful atmosphere; from the moment you walk in, you feel like the most important guest of the evening. We had the honor of spending our last evening there with family. The food is outstanding; every bite transports you to another dimension... 😍 A taste you won't forget. A Trastevere trattoria, homey and welcoming. The food is excellent, absolutely excellent, and the prices, as is rarely the case, are affordable.
The carbonara is amazing, but the cacio e pepe is even better! Generous portions, excellent bread, and it was brought to the table still hot.
The legendary Tony didn't come out this time, but he cooked fantastically! Well done, everyone!

The carbonara and cacio e pepe at this place are a guarantee: incredibly creamy, and best of all, you won't leave on an empty stomach given the generous portions!
The value for money is excellent (€15.50 each). The only downside is the heat inside, but for a pasta dish like this, it's absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
I recommend arriving early to avoid the line outside.
