A nice place, we ate very well and quickly

We ate very well as usual, with a family atmosphere.

We didn't expect much, we saw the recommendation on Facebook. We waited for about 20 minutes to get in, like many in front of the place... we didn't regret it for a moment, top-notch restaurant, excellent and plentiful food, chilled drinks, friendly, fast, skilled staff... I can't say enough good things!!! Roma, if we ever see each other again, we'll be at Taverna 29 that same evening.

The food is good, but not amazing. We went for the show, and that's the reason we chose this restaurant. The sad thing is that when we arrived there was no show... and apparently, they don't have regular shows. I think that if a restaurant promotes a show on social media, they should offer it regularly, not just when it's busy. That was quite disappointing.

Really delicious food, excellent service, relatively cheap prices in the area

We ended up here by mistake, during our short vacation in Rome. Visiting the Trastevere neighborhood, one evening, we got hungry. We kept wandering around the area looking for a restaurant. We had a choice between a Mexican, a Brazilian and an Italian one. Finally we arrived here. At the entrance there were 4 people waiting to enter, and we were the next. That is, we sat down in a regular line. After 30 minutes of waiting, about 25 more people gathered in the queue. Finally it was our turn and we were invited into the restaurant. We were offered a seat at a table for 2 people, a mineral water was placed on the table and menus. We ordered lasagna and saltimbocca alla romana, of course, a glass of wine and a beer (for thirst). I want to tell you that after 15 minutes the food arrived. Even though all the tables were occupied, it seemed to me that the little men moved very quickly. The food? Very good! And a lot of it! The lasagna was great. Even though it's made differently than I know (in horizontal layers), it was fantastic. Well, bro, I have no idea… I enjoyed every bite. Saltimbocca alla romana, great. Oh boy, fantastic… I haven't eaten something this good in a long time… maybe I've had something this good in Aosta. But this one was better… What can I say about the service? Quite ok. It's just that there were about 3 waiters and you didn't know who was serving you and how. Ambience: Italian. Lots of talking, music, TV, etc… you know how it is in Italian restaurants… you have to speak just as loudly. Overall, this restaurant is very ok. I gladly recommend… Spor!

If you're in Rome's Trastevere area, you can't miss Tavernetta da Tony. It's perfect for dinner at 7:30 PM, with a 5-minute wait. If you arrive later, there's a wait, but it's worth it. A typical Roman trattoria with exquisite food from appetizers to dessert. Friendly, courteous staff.

This restaurant a is perfect for an amazing Italian dinner while in Rome. The atmosphere makes you feel welcomed and a part of the staff. We loved the Senior Waiter Alex, he truly became part of the family during our meals. This restaurant is a must if you’re in Rome, so much so that we went twice during our short stay in the city.
