Incredible in every way!!!! I've been in Rome for a week and we've already been back twice. The spaghetti carbonara is the best I've ever tasted, and the lasagna... wow, something out of the ordinary. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the chef came out to take a picture with us. What can I say about the price? It's dirt cheap and there's a huge amount of food. I'll definitely be back.

Yesterday, with some friends, I managed to arrange a carbonara at Taveretta 29, at Tony's. Being Roman, I've never had pasta like this. Excellent in every way, I highly recommend it, but come hungry because Tony is generous with the portions.
Next time, it'll be the matriciana... thanks, Tony, until next time.

I loved this restaurant. The spaghetti carbonara is spectacular, and if Julius Caesar were alive, he'd have a table reserved every day. The warm bread was amazing. The service was a bit slow, but it gets really busy. We went in very early, as after 1:00 p.m., the lines outside to eat are endless. By the way, considering it's trendy and the quality it offers, I was surprised to find it significantly cheaper than other restaurants we've been to.

At the entrance, the service was terrible. There were free tables, yet we waited outside for about half an hour. Not only that, but inside the restaurant, the tables are so close together that you can't even go to the bathroom (we even had trouble finding our table because we were bumping into everyone else). Once we FINALLY sat down and ordered our dishes, not only did it take half an hour to bring them, but they also got the wrong dish, and we had to wait another 20 minutes.
The food is good, but the service is subpar. We won't be back; there are far better options in the area!

This restaurant a is perfect for an amazing Italian dinner while in Rome. The atmosphere makes you feel welcomed and a part of the staff. We loved the Senior Waiter Alex, he truly became part of the family during our meals. This restaurant is a must if you’re in Rome, so much so that we went twice during our short stay in the city.

If you’re looking for THEE Italian cuisine when you’re in Rome, don’t look any further. The service is amazing and the food will have you saying “omggg” with every bite. You might get full after a few bites, but you won’t want to stop eating. I tried the Truffle Ravioli, Vodka Pasta, and Carbonara, and each were their own unique experience that made you wanting more. If you are in Rome, plan time to go here, the line outside the door is worth the wait, and it’s shorter than it seems. 5 stars isn’t enough, 10 would be closer, but words can’t describe how amazing my experience was here.
