We’ve been to La Tavernatta twice during our stay in Calabria. Both times were absolutely wonderful! I tried the Colorata pizza the first time and the Confit the second time - both were delicious, with a perfect, airy crust and fresh ingredients. The service was excellent: very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s a popular place and was completely full both times, so I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. Parking is available along the street. The menu offers a huge variety of pizzas, and they’re happy to make modifications without any problem. All in all, a fantastic spot - highly recommended! 🍕

As a Neapolitan, I can say this is one of the best pizzas I've had in Calabria since 1998. The dough, ingredients, and cooking are top-notch, all at an affordable price. Congratulations.

A pizzeria truly worth a visit. I went there with my brother, his daughter, and my two sons, and it was an unforgettable experience. The place is perfectly nestled in the village of Oriolo, with a terrace offering a fantastic view of the Frederick II castle. It's perfect for both a quiet evening and a family dinner. The pizza I tried was extraordinary, with authentic flavors and fresh, carefully selected ingredients; you can taste the attention to every detail. I read that they've become a Starred Pizzeria, and I can totally understand why: excellent quality, gourmet pizzas, and a simple, casual atmosphere. The staff is helpful and professional, and the service is efficient even during peak times. I'll be back on my next vacation, because it's one of those places that stays in your memory.

Pizzeria located in the center of Oriolo. Very fast service, reasonable prices, and the pizza...delicious!!! Soft dough, quality ingredients, and very light. Recommended.
