Great service, excellent traditional Roman cuisine. A pleasant discovery!

Noisy guests unpleasant atmosphere

Reading reviews and seeing photos from previous guests. I'm not sure if it's the same place. I uploaded photos of the menu. The only negative was the charge, the table & cover total 2.55 euros per person.

Ristorante "La Tavernetta" has okay food, but it’s a bit of a tourist trap. There is a pushy guy who always sits on a chair in front of the restaurant and tries to draw people in. He seemed like a friendly guy, but way too desperate. I sat outside and had to listen to this guy try to talk to every person who walked by. It really got annoying. However, the prices aren’t extremely high given how touristy this restaurant is. I came here for breakfast and ordered the cheese omelette and some fresh squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed the orange juice and the eggs were pretty good too. I wish there was more cheese in the omelette instead of simply parmesan being sprinkled on top. Overall, it was a decent meal, but the pushiness is very alienating.

We met Claudio in the morning, and he enticed us to eat. We came back in the evening and liked the food, but the owner's friendliness was lacking. The Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe was very good. Also, the Spaghetti alla Pescatora.

Good food, nothing to say, but with the excuse of the bruschetta it swells and the bill is not a little... if Roman but if smart

Enjoyed the best pasta I have ever eaten here, ricotta and spinach ravioli in a pesto cream sauce. So. Yummy! Service was fantastic, atmosphere was amazing sitting at a table on the sidewalk outside the restaurant enjoying the sights and sounds of Rome while we ate the most delicious food. Highly recommend.
