La Taverneria In Palermo

This is a nice place for a quick bite rather than a memorable dining experience. The food was decent, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere felt very casual and lively. It wasn't really my type of place, as it's located on a busy street with lots of people constantly walking past. One thing I did appreciate was that the owner regularly tried to keep street vendors away so they wouldn't disturb guests while they were eating. Overall, it's a perfectly fine stop if you're looking for something quick and simple, but not somewhere I would choose for a long, relaxed dinner.

Nice place with helpful and friendly staff. A generous, quality platter for €39.90. The drink is almost undrinkable.

In the crowded streets of Palermo you can sit at a table on the street itself and oder good pasta. Well cooked and tasty sauce. Average to Italiam expectations and above non- Italian pasta. Service ok. To recommend. 👍 GoDipOnly🩵

A lovely little restaurant with seating in the pedestrian zone. We ordered several different dishes, and every single one was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. The restroom was clean, the food was attractively presented, and it was simply a pleasure to sit amidst the hustle and bustle of Palermo.

We loved everything. The service was friendly, the portions very generous, and the drinks weren't watery. With so many restaurants out there, you don't know where to go. This one is a clear choice, with a great set menu including a drink. Not disappointed at all!

La Taverneria Palermo We dined at this restaurant and had a truly positive experience. The food was excellent: carefully crafted, flavorful dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Even at a fairly late hour, the kitchen was still busy, and the quality did not suffer at all, which is not to be expected. Despite its location on a tourist strip, which can often lead one to think of a place geared more towards traffic than quality, we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the cuisine is decidedly high-quality. Another very positive aspect was the service staff: polite, friendly, and always available, with a pleasant but never intrusive attitude, which made the evening even more enjoyable. In short, a highly recommended restaurant, where the food is excellent even late at night, and where courtesy and quality go hand in hand.

Quite disappointing; we ordered three courses. The focaccia was good, but the spaghetti carbonara was incredibly disappointing with only three tiny crumbs—no exaggeration—of barely visible guanciale/pancetta and very little flavor. The third course, chicken cutlet, left me perplexed. I've never seen a homemade breaded chicken cutlet so perfectly round and flat. It was completely tasteless. The service was adequate, though not particularly friendly. Final rating closer to 2.5
