27/04/2025: What I look for on Map when I want to eat genuine typical cuisine in generous portions is always the word "osteria" or "trattoria". Luckily this time I was really lucky because my search led me to the trattoria da Pinuccio, and it is exactly what I was looking for. Bucatini alla matriciana and rigatoni carbonara, with battered artichoke appetizers: simple, abundant and everything al dente as I like it, a real pleasure. What's unfortunate is that I'm only in Rome passing through and it will be difficult to eat here again. As a Milanese accustomed to the robotic services of apathetic waiters on the verge of suicide, I also appreciated the colorful display of affection and attention from the son of the chef who serves the tables. Great place, highly recommended 👍
