The place is very rustic and informal. Reasonable prices, generous portions, and authentically flavorful cuisine. The pizza is Roman-style, thin and thin, and very good. Fast service. If you're looking for substance and not frills, this is the place.

30/04/2025: La mejor comida de nuestro tiempo aquí en Roma. Teníamos la pasta con trufa negra, espaguetis con salchicha y cerdo con manzana. Todos estábamos muy contentos con nuestra comida. El servicio fue eficiente, el hijo del cocinero dirige el servicio y agrega un gran toque personal. Definitivamente volveré:)
12/12/2024: Restaurante diferente a lo que te encuentras en Roma. Francesco es un buen anfitrión, pero lo mejor de todo es la mano en la cocina de la Mamá y su esposa, muy buena materia prima y bodega excepcional, no te pierdas el tiramisú

Pizzeria Lo Zio Frankie

18/10/2025: Uncle Frankie is a historic place, a point of reference for the Aurelio-Boccea area and beyond. Try the very well-cooked and delicious pizzas and the meat-based main courses. The dessert platter is beautiful. The staff is attentive and very friendly.
10/10/2025: A good osteria, not only fish, meat, and pizza, but also indoor and outdoor seating. The waiters were helpful. I enjoyed the appetizer, which three of us ate as an appetizer, and then we had the gricia, which I found a bit too peppery for my taste, but was good. The desserts were also good, accompanied by a bottle of Frascati. The atmosphere was quiet, and I'd like to return for the pizza. A business that's been around for over 20 years. We also took advantage of the 20 percent discount from The Fork. Compliments to all the staff.
