Above expectations, we ate well, genuine products, well cooked and served. Hot dishes. Friendly and competent staff. Just a small criticism: for coffee you need a ceramic cup, not a plastic cup We really recommend.

The food is very good and well priced, the service is very friendly, but if it's full, it's slow. The dishes are generous. The letter is handwritten and only in Italian. It's not very clear as to what each dish is.

Eccezionale!!!! Entri e ti senti subito a casa. Mario è davvero un ottimo padrone di casa riesce, come pochi, a metterti a tuo agio. La Tavernaccia è un locale ordinato, pulito dove si riescono ancora oggi a riscoprire gli antichi sapori (e non solo). Lasciatevi consigliare e non vedo ne pentirete. Tutto buono ma la vi consiglio di provare la Pasta alla Glassa, Super!!!

23/11/2024: The place was recommended to us and we were very happy with it. Our first time in Palermo and we ate dishes unknown to our palates. We recommend: Eggplant rolls grilled octopus cappellacci filled with sweet cheeses, mushrooms and truffles seasoned with butter and sage spaghetti with sea urchins and the cassata. The staff and owner are very kind

07/08/2024: The main course included olives and bread. Everything tasted just right. Service was also ok. Overall good impression. :)
31/07/2024: It was the best dinner we had in our Sicily-trip. The fish was very fresh and everything was tasty. I can’t wait to be back in Palermo to visit this restaurant again.
