We discovered La Tavernaccia in Palermo and we were thrilled! We ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course, water and coffee, spending only 48 euros in total: truly exceptional value for money. The portions are generous and each dish is prepared with care. The food was really delicious, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. A genuine experience, perfect for those looking for Sicilian cuisine in a welcoming and informal environment. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant used to be much better, now the quality of the dishes is worse Before they had less customers and the quality and taste was the best, now for the amount of work they have they can't maintain the usual standard. The pasta with sardines was to dry and not very flavorful.The other pasta with white ragu was full of peas that predominated over everything, the fried fish was decent but nothing exceptionalThe breaded meat was tough and not well fried with a sandy texture in the crust I'm sorry to say but it was a disappointing experience, the service was good especially from a very friendly waiter.

Typical dishes with fresh raw materials and gargantuan portions. After a memorable lunch on April 11th, we rushed back for dinner on the 12th: standing ovation pasta with sardines (the best I've ever tasted!), delicious mixed starter, swordfish rolls and beccafico sardines to lick your lips! Unbeatable quality and taste at super honest prices. Having discovered this jewel will give us an extra excuse to return to Palermo, a meeting place for DOC Palermitans and loyal customers, just as we like to taste the real local cuisine. Questo ristorante è stata la nostra caccia al tesoro! Nonostante alloggiassimo in un b&b quasi di fronte,in. 4 giorni siamo riusciti a cenare solo l'ultima sera e dopo ci siamo rammaricati di non esserci riusciti a che nei giorni precedenti. Il tempo di attesa delle ordinazioni è compatibile con una cucina in tempo reale, perciò nulla di già pronto. L'attesa è valsa per quanto mangiato dopo,orata alla griglia con patate, involtini di pollo e bacon con patate e tagliata con contorno di verdure,tutto ottimo e conto perfetto. Ancora complimenti ai gestori che tengono alta la bandiera della buona cucina siciliana e della gestione familiare nonostante l'avanzata delle catene di ristorazione fast food. Prenotate qui e ne uscirete felici 🥰

The pasta alle Vongole is incredibly good. It is worth deviating a little from the tourist area. All a 10.

We went last night for dinner for the first time. My wife and I returned home happy to have discovered a new restaurant where we could go and eat without being fleeced but pampered by kindness and above all returning home pleasantly satisfied after eating our traditional Sicilian dishes, well cooked both in terms of quality and quantity. Passed with flying colours, we will definitely be back

Recuerda que este es un verdadero restaurante italiano, así que pide comida italiana, especiales, pasta o mariscos. La pasta estaba fuera de lo normal, llena hasta el borde de sicilianos y una cola para arrancar. Hemos estado en Italia 5 veces y es justo allí con la calidad de la comida y la pasta es perfecta al dente
