The roast suckling pig and porcini pasta were very delicious. The porcini were fresh and tender, the roast suckling pig had just the right texture, the crispy skin was perfectly seasoned with spices, the meat was a bit dry but acceptable, and the potatoes were soft and tasty. This unexpected restaurant saved our last night in Rome, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Rome.

Finally, here is a restaurant worthy of Italy. Off the tourist trail, hidden in a small street, you have to look for it to find it, but once inside, everything is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent traditional cuisine, unbeatable value for money. No surprises on the bill, bread, cutlery, water, service included. Even a smile was offered. Head to Trastevere, exit the metro at Circo Maximus, cross the Tiber bridge and look behind the McDonald's. It's your turn.

Best Pasta I had in Rome, enjoying every bite of it. Not a fan of red wine, but wine just hit differently with smooth grape flavour. Place is very unique and staff is very polite/friendly. 10 of 10! 🍷

La Tavernaccia è un tipico ristorante romano in Trastevere. Cucina con scelta di gustosi piatti della gastronomia locale impiattati con semplicità e raffinatezza. Un plauso al cameriere ed a Paola per la spontaneità e la gentilezza.
